And tied with the Giants at 6-3. If the Pack (fat chance, but they're up 14-0), Rams, and Jets (fat chance) can win, we'll be tied for the best record in the conference.. Of course, it probably won't matter once they hit the tougher part of the schedule, but you never know. If we can secure a first round bye, we'd have better odds of lucking into the SB... EDIT - also, as it gets later in the season, maintaining the lead is almost a victory in itself...Obviously, it'll get tougher and tougher to make up 2 games as we go deeper. I hope/expect we'll get to that New Year's game with more than a one game lead on the Vikes. next week begins the tough stretch for the Bears. We'll see how they come out against a good team like Carolina. The Bears have done what they needed to do though..beat the teams that they have to beat (with the exception of Cleveland). If they win 3 of their final 7, they have the division. Yep. I just wish they could go into that stretch with Rex taking the snaps. I think Orton is going to get exposed again against a good team like Carolina, just like he was against Cincy. Any chance Rex is off the inactive list for the TB game still, or is it pretty much looking like Green Bay?
