    I wish Soriano hadn't gotten hurt and we could've stuck with him in CF. He seemed to be doing fine and I think the hitting was more of just a slow start than him struggling because of his position. He'd be a really valuable bat as a CF.

    Pie and Gallagher for Roberts? Hendry would be a damn fool to make that trade. Roberts Murton Lee Fuku Ramirez Soriano Soto Theriot Just an idea. The lefties split up the righties (which I don't care much about but Lou seems to) and Lou has pretty much said Fuku will be in the middle of the order (I think he mentioned the 3 & 4 spots as the main possibilities, but I could be remembering wrong).

    If Pie is included in the deal, Hendry must be reasonably sure he can get Figgins, right? I mean, we can't go with Fuld in CF. I don't rule out a Fuku in CF and Murton in RF scenario at all, but it just seems like that idea might've been put to rest somewhat by the reports this week that part of what sold Fuku on the Cubs (among other things) was that he'd be able to play RF.

    his experience as a high school baseball coach gives his opinion as to the psyche of a professional player he's never met respect? not from me. your experience as a baseball fan doenst qualify you to "prove him wrong" with statistics either. Totally random and irrelevant.

    You guys are right and I'm wrong. What more is there to say? I want you, just once, to support your claim in some way other than some blanket statement about it being your opinion. Is that a lot to ask?

    I can't believe this is still going on. The best part is that I have yet to see CCF offer one piece of evidence or support for his claim/opinion. I could be wrong, though.

    I would just love ONE example of Prior's feeble-mindedness. Just one. I just want to see you provide an iota of support for one of the claims you make.

    Probably not, but why does that matter? Are you saying he can't keep a team "in the game" or pitch to his run support? No. What I'm saying is the focus after failing. You can make all these claims all you want, but you provide no support for them other than saying that it's your opinion and asking us to look up the numbers for you (numbers that are impossible to find, no less). On top of that, you criticize people for using numbers to support their arguments when you don't even provide support for your own.

    I don't care what those numbers say. Prior's a mentally weak sissy-boy who can't take pressure. He should've given up a cleaner double play ball when he was in that jam in game 6. A real man would've.

    What shocks me is that so many people are surprised by this and still care. But that's just me. We've known that the vast majority of players were using steroids for what, 5-6 years, if not longer?

    It doesn't even make sense to me that Wood would be on these lists, period. He was throwing like 95 at 15. Maybe he used/started using during one of his rehab stints.

    Not really. Aren't they pretty stringent about testing in the minors and completely open about announcing who tests positive?

    Heh, the funny thing is, I haven't really done the Geovany Soto thing a whole lot... Maybe 3-4 times, but two of them were in the last two days.

    Why are you putting Fuku in CF in all your scenarios and putting Pie in either LF or RF?

    Seems like it still is...or else why would he be so hard up for Roberts? Great player, don't get me wrong, but not needed at all. That said, I'm not gonna be upset at all about getting him unless we give up something ridiculous.
