  1. I would just love ONE example of Prior's feeble-mindedness. Just one. I just want to see you provide an iota of support for one of the claims you make.
  2. Probably not, but why does that matter? Are you saying he can't keep a team "in the game" or pitch to his run support? No. What I'm saying is the focus after failing. You can make all these claims all you want, but you provide no support for them other than saying that it's your opinion and asking us to look up the numbers for you (numbers that are impossible to find, no less). On top of that, you criticize people for using numbers to support their arguments when you don't even provide support for your own.
  3. He wants us to prove his ridiculous argument for him. Sweet.
  4. Cuse has to be just trolling to mess with us.. He HAS to be. This line of reasoning is so far beyond absurd.
  5. This is getting comedic in how stupid it is. Round and round we go with the circular reasoning.
  6. I'd bet he winds up in San Diego. And if I were Jim Hendry, I'd look into filing a tampering complaint with the league.
  7. I don't care what those numbers say. Prior's a mentally weak sissy-boy who can't take pressure. He should've given up a cleaner double play ball when he was in that jam in game 6. A real man would've.
  8. Again, I use both but as I said, you're narrow minded and just see one thing. Honestly, I could care less what you think. You don't think it's a bit misguided to evaluate a person's psyche based on seeing him on TV a few times?
  9. I could not have put it any better myself.
  10. Also tons of typos in the thing.
  11. What shocks me is that so many people are surprised by this and still care. But that's just me. We've known that the vast majority of players were using steroids for what, 5-6 years, if not longer?
  12. It doesn't even make sense to me that Wood would be on these lists, period. He was throwing like 95 at 15. Maybe he used/started using during one of his rehab stints.
  13. Considering he was fat and not really muscular before, nah, I wouldn't say so.
  14. Not really. Aren't they pretty stringent about testing in the minors and completely open about announcing who tests positive?
  15. Heh, the funny thing is, I haven't really done the Geovany Soto thing a whole lot... Maybe 3-4 times, but two of them were in the last two days.
  16. Why are you putting Fuku in CF in all your scenarios and putting Pie in either LF or RF?
  17. Seems like it still is...or else why would he be so hard up for Roberts? Great player, don't get me wrong, but not needed at all. That said, I'm not gonna be upset at all about getting him unless we give up something ridiculous.
  18. Or, at least, his name spelled correctly. :D
  19. Geovany Soto (Couldn't resist) Between the two of them, though, we have a decent shot at one.
  20. :?: Not sure if you're just being sarcastic here, so I'll bite.. I mean, he's a pretty good player... Last 3 years .296/.371/.452 (.823) and 113 steals in 137 attempts (89%) 48.6 VORP which was 28th in baseball last year according to a Bruce Miles article last week. Not sure he's worth all this, though.
  21. Yea, they have a few reliable insiders on that forum. Amazing, most boards don't even have one.
  22. Too bad it's not the old Tejada trade...Prior for Tejada and Bedard... I think there's a misconception that that trade was actually on the table for the Cubs to discuss. The O's wanted Prior for Tejada, straight up. It was Hendry that was insisting on Bedard's inclusion and the O's refusal to do this was essentially why a deal never got done. At least, that's how I remember it. Just thought I should point that out.
  23. And so ends an era... http://i.cnn.net/si/si_online/covers/images/2003/0707_large.jpg http://cdn.news.aol.com/aolnews_photos/06/07/20060618170409990001 Most of us will miss you, Mark...
