  1. Half of Hill's problem is probably that Lou is always telling him he sucks.
  2. The guy in your sig is up there. I adblocked the pic. Both because it scares me and it's obnoxiously large.
  3. That homer came on a 2-0 pitch.....maybe he'll realize that swinging at everything is a bad idea? No.
  4. Hit by a pitch on the hand. Didn't look very good, but nobody really knows anything yet. Ouch. Also, skimming through here it seems like Soriano has had a particularly bad game. I read about the missed flyball, what else has he done bad?
  5. Wow. I didn't pay much attention to the situation. But what the hell happened to him? He used to be good. He's only 32, he shouldn't have declined that badly yet.
  6. Oh come on, Joe Carter provided us with valuable insight such as how Gabe Kapler worked out too much and it makes him get stiff.
  7. Yes, Chip and Joe were in the stands doing the broadcast that day. I really don't know why I remember it so clearly, the only thing I don't remember is what year it was.
  8. I don't get it. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=felch CAUTION: VERY NOT SAFE FOR WORK. But it explains it. Definitely not as delicious as Coco Crisp. Don't knock it till you try it...
  9. I seem to remember Gary Mathews Junior making a pretty unbelievable catch a couple of days before he was claimed off of waivers by the Pirates. I think he slid to try to make the catch and it bounced out of his glove, then he tried to scoop it out of the air with his glove and wound up throwing it behind himself, then caught it with his bare hand behind his body.
  10. What are the odds that Jocketty does the right thing and fires Dusty at the end of the year? It doesn't seem like the Reds are going to compete this year, so unless they turn things around quickly their young arms might make it through a year of Dusty alive.
  11. For the sake of keeping a tradition alive, how the hell are we in first place?
  12. Excellent, thanks a lot. I really love Pat as a broadcaster. I've listened to a lot of different teams broadcasts, and the only announcer I can even think might be better than him is the radio announcer for the Cleveland Indians. Part of me still wishes they had moved Pat and Ron to the TV booth when Chip and Stone left.
  13. Ah, that explains everything.
  14. In play (runs) All is right with the world despite Lou doing a Dusty impersonation.
  15. The move only makes sense if you are going to steal with Pie to get the runner in scoring position. But it sure didn't look like that was his inent. STill doesn't make sense, because in the event you do tie, you lose your best hitter. If you take the lead, you lose your best defender. Didn't he have a tight neck or back a few days ago? It's possible that he got hurt on the swing.
  16. The Brewers are carrying 14 pitchers? What?! You can never have too much pitching. I think Yost took that theory as a challenge.
  17. Can't get gameday audio to work for me, either. This is stupid.
  18. Geovany Soto.
  19. Hey, I get it! It was sarcasm, because that isn't smart baseball at all...
  20. It's only April and we've faced mostly crap teams (Although sweeping the Mets = awesome), but this Cubs team is so fun. I feel bad for being critical of them before the season. It's just too bad that I always work during the games. I'm running my cellphone minutes up like crazy getting updates on the game on Verizon's Gameday.
