I used to know the rule, I just forgot completely, and a friend and I were talking about it about a week ago. A save situation is: 1. Up by 3 or less runs 2. pitching the final three innings of a game your team wins 3. I THINK it is if the tying run is in the on deck circle. Is this true?

It's exteremly tough to find that kind of data at rookie league games - MiLB.com lists it in their box scores for AAA and there are announcers and many fans at games at other levels who could keep track of that but that doesn't happen in the AZL. That info would have to come from the coaching staff, probably into a local Chicago rag's story on Hill. Or maybe AZPhil at the Cub Reporter could provide it, had he taken note of it. AZ Phil does a pretty good job reporting on such things. How do you know that? i'm assuming he can count. Have there been previous instances in which AZPhil has provided pitch counts? Was Vance there to validate the accuracy of the pitch counts? It just seems like an odd thing to say someone is good at. You(r post) is a really big douchebag. Hopefully that counts as attacking the post and not the poster.

Edmonds is showing signs of age, and is much slower now..obviously. Though he cant make every play a highlight job, he'll swan dive for a few this year and have you clappin..maybe in St Louis this weekend. Im sure he's up for that! What's really funny or odd, is reading here the last several years and the Cub fans calling him gay, that he wears eyeliner/makeup...my how that tide has turned. Should be some good ball games this weekend. Happy 4th to all. He still wears eyeliner.
