yeah yeah yeah, Cavs win in Auburn Hills It's too bad Gibson got hurt, he seemed to really be blossoming at the point. I really like that Brown doesn't start Snow, and just goes with Hughes, Pavlovic, and James as guards.

The Cubs did just fine against RHP last year. LH threats aren't nearly as necessary as overall threats. The Cubs sucked against LHP last year, due largely to players like Jones who were completely worthless against them. But you do need SOME left-handers in your lineup. I'm not saying it has to be 5RH/4LH, or vice-versa. Late in the game against a closer, who in this division are mostly, if not all RH, it would be nice to have some guys from the left side with a little bit of power. I think we need to look at the end result. If you're right handed heavy but your big RH bats can hit right handed pitching very well(Lee and Ramirez can, Soriano doesn't have a heavy platoon split either), then it's not such a large concern. Plus, like Goony said, Pie or Floyd are likely the ones that would replace Jones, and they're both left handed hitters with a sizable platoon split.

I dont think I can say no fast enough. really, wow, i understand the love of Murton's potential but you get a chance at a player of Ichiro's caliber you have to take it- i think you might be overvalueing Murtons Potential as well as Marshall and Gallagher- they are young unproven commodities- I think i couldnt say yes fast enough( if Ichiro wanted to sign an extension) I think you will find that potential is almost always valued above production when it comes to our prospects. Murton: .297/.365/.444, 103 OPS+, 25 years old, making 6 figures and under team control until the 2012 season Ichiro: .322/.370/.416, 109 OPS+, 33 years old, making 8 figures and a year away from Free Agency And we're adding Jones, Gallagher, and Marshall?

So your overrated if youve never batted lower than .300 in the majors and never had OBP lower than .350 ? and also one of the best outfielders in the game. I didn't say he was a bad player, but the bolded is exactly my point. He's not one of the best outfielders in the game, not even close. It's questionable that he's in the top 30. EDIT: Rereading it I think you were referring to defense, but the point remains about his offense. He's second tier when it comes to his offense. He's a player that relies a lot on speed and he's aging, and he's about to get his last big contract. Stay far away.

Ichiro is one of the more overrated players in the game. There's no way he's worth that package.

Yep, the only team they've played in two months is Gonzaga, who they barely beat. And Gonzaga was just discussed as a team not worthy of an at large. I wonder where they get seeded.

There's no scouts there? I thought of that, but I'd imagine there's a disconnect between Sullivan sitting amongst the scouts right behind home plate, and then posting a story about it minutes after Prior's day is done. I don't think it adds up.

If not, repeat #2 with Anderson Jr. on Law and Dandridge on Julian Wright Your plan is flawed. Julian Wright is made out of rubber. He has no knees. Well, my nickname for Dandridge last year was Gumby, so maybe he can just meld him into a larger, more sucky claymonstrosity.
