What's the other option that's better than Jones against RHP? -
My boy Antone DeJesus at UK isn't having the greatest year, but jeez can Kentucky hit. DeJesus has a .322/.458/.430/.888 line(with 12/14 SB), and it's about 7th best of the 8 regulars.

That pitch to Everett probably wasn't a strike, it bent inside. However, it had been called a strike several times previously, and Boyd owed us enough to get us a K on an intentional walk. -

Good stuff from EPatt and Pie, they've combined for a 3/3 BB/K ratio thus far -
I think the most blatant example was Woody getting the low sinker all game , consistently with a couple of inches off the corner as well. then, to lead of the ill fated eighth (see first inning to Lee/Aram), Howry threw a beauty of a sinker right over the middle with very late break. ball. should have struck out Ensberg. I'm just as p'd about that pitch as the one to Everett. come the next inning, Gabe White throws the exact same pitch as Howry, only a little lower, and suddenly it was a strike again. Williams got a few calls right where the K to Everett should have been as well. The thing that absolutely killed me is that Williams would get a curveball that broke a foot outside to RH called for a strike. I mean, just following the trajectory of that pitch makes it unmistakably easy to tell it's a ball(as opposed to the low or inside strikes on fastballs), and Williams still got it at least a half dozen times.
