    Their rotation is Sheets and pray for rain. The next lowest ERA on that staff is Suppan at 5.22, and none of them save Suppan are that high from a bad start they're working out of, a la Lilly.

    Donaldson with a pair of doubles. He's .270/.341/.513/.854 in his last 10 games. Thomas hit a HR as part of his 3 hit day. That's 4 multi-hit games in his last 8.

    This makes 4 straight decent to great starts from TRL, I think he's back. The lack of velocity still concerns me. Why the hell is he throwing 85-86 when he was throwing 90-91 last year? He's touching 88-91 regularly on the fastball, and it's a cool day, doesn't seem too worrisome.

    I swear Burke gets a hit every game, and an XBH like every other day, and every time I check his line he's still in the mid 600s in OPS.

    Most managers do stupid things. Lou doesn't abuse his starters, which is the one thing I wanted above everything else in a new manager, so I find it hard to get on board the "get rid of Lou" train when many other managers would do the same things, or at least similar, and some with the added bonus of needlessly risking injury to our SP. Way to throw Volquez for 118 today Dusty!

    Cavs down 4 at the half in Boston despite missing all 6 threes they took and Rondo scoring 15 first half points. I like their chances if they can make it a possession by possession game down the stretch.
