It's more of a you couldn't have ever been a hitter if your approach was hack at balls low and away off the plate than a nerds in the basement attack. To sit there and attack a hitter for not swinging at pitches that are at best 50/50 calls is a joke. I don't need to attack Soler as a hitter since the results speak for themself at this point. Getting pissed at bad strike calls is not absolving Soler for responsibility for his overall output. If you're going to sarcastically dismiss arguments please do so to arguments that are actually made.

Baez is seeing about as many pitches per plate appearance as Rizzo, and more than Soler, Bryant, and Zobrist. -
Arrieta's K% is higher than it was last April, he's just giving up such weak contact when he isn't K'ing guys that he has fewer chances to tack on K's.

60 PA: http://www.fangraphs.com/library/principles/sample-size/ Which means 114 PA of 20% K rate with a .389 wOBA is a very good sign. Pitchers will adjust back again, but we can pretty safely say that Bryant made a meaningful and positive change. We'll have to wait and see exactly how sustainable that improvement is.
