Wouldn't you want the walk so that you get to the better hitter at the top of the order? -
Looks like .368. That's super high, but it could come down 40 points or so and Murton would still be productive since he's still got a very high AVG overall. I know that in his early playing time he had a fair # of infield & dropped in the sun hits - his power seems genuine though! (BTW, where can I find batter BABIP?) I don't know that it's available at any site, I just calculated (H-HR)/(AB-HR-K) I'm not sure if that's completely correct, but it's close. EDIT: Forgot that sacrifices are added too. Murton has 1 SF and 2 SH, so it's only a small difference from the .368 figure.

Solid IsoP to start out his big league career. If he can keep that up even when his AVG goes down then he'll be fine in a corner OF spot.

Yes that was a fun game. I've got a sweet farmer's tan going on now. Chase Coffman is my new favorite college player. While I really like Coffman, my favorite is Crossett. I wanted Coffman to lay out that defensive back that was jawing with him so badly though. He had about 7 inches and 30 pounds on the guy. EDIT: This week's sign of the apocolypse. Brad Smith took a snap under center. :shock: Crossett? Really, why's that? Great guy, but he's really not too good of a kicker. Way too inconsistent. Coffman is money though - he wont drop a ball all year. There's no particular reason, although he's perfect since the ASU game, which I don't think counts anyway :D. That OB kickoff was his first screw up of the season in that department, he's even a better punter than Hoenes. Basically I love yelling Crossett's name when he comes on the field, and being a soccer player I gotta pull for the kicker. Coffman should start over Rucker, he dominates the middle of the field.

Fields was a preseason All-American. I swear I'm going to go out for punter next season. I'd bet anything I'm better than half these D1 guys.

I have to pick 2 of these backs: D. Davis v. PIT K. Jones v. CHI L. Jordan v. KC C. Williams v. BUF I'm pretty sure Jordan will be in there, but the other three are all facing strong defenses.
