  1. This is an awesome move. It isn't that I hate Key or anything, he was good for us in Dallas, but after him telling Jarrett he was going to "show him" how to do everything the move is well-timed.
  2. :middlefinger: Hey, you're ahead of 3 people now!
  3. "I drink alone" is fitting too since most Cubs fans go into solitary after losses.
  4. So where's our update? I want to see how far Bob is behind now
  5. Not like I'm counting down or anything...but we've only got about 6 weeks left until Boise starts playing!
  6. Metallica- "Sad but True"
  7. Yall might find this article quite interesting. Dr. Z's grade for the Bears' draft was by far the lowest given to them. Overall their GPA was 2.5.
  8. Man that was a close pitch, I hope we can break this open here.
  9. Sammy is 2-2 with a double and an RBI so far tonight, and his average is up to .250.
  10. I already rejected it, though I am considering a trade with him for Zambrano. He's had him sitting on the bench all season and I think I can get him cheap.
  11. Tennessee is still scoreless through 2, Cates has the only hit but he was doubled up on a Fox liner. Gallagher has gone 2IP, 2 hits, 2/1 K/bb. And I find it slightly humorous that the 1B umpire's last name is Loveless.
  12. The D-Cubs batted around in the 1st and lead it 4-2. Colvin is 2-2 with a double and an RBI, Amador and Chirinos also added double. Blackford allowed 2 hits and 2 runs in the first.
  13. He was a bit awkward going into 2b because he wasn't expecting the play to be contested, but I think he's fine.
  14. He's gonna be hard to send down..... thankfully he doesnt chase certain pitches like certain other #20's ?? Patterson was 17 wasn't he?
  15. Wow hill with a hit now too! And Pie scores!
  16. Another hit for Pie, ever since he switched to #20 he's been hot.
  17. He couldn't do anything with it once he got it. Plus, I think the Cardinals' series also showed some limitations to his play at SS. He was so far in the hole I don't think anyone would have thrown out Sanchez, he is a fast runner. It wasn't hit very hard either.
  18. All three outs were flyouts, hopefully he gets his location down and starts throwing something else besides his fastball.
  19. Nice play by Theriot just to get to that ball...who was complaining about his range?
  20. Hill has thrown nothing but fastballs through 2 hitters, and many of them have been up in the zone. I hope he can calm down.
  21. DLee has doubled in 6 straight games
