  1. Why do they have to put Dusty in such a great game with Bedard vs. Santana?
  2. Today's game thread felt empty without Fred's stats...it's all his fault that we lost today
  3. Today is all my fault guys, I put Dunn as a starter in the OF on my fantasy team.
  4. Excellent catch by Murton, that had better be on web gems tonight.
  5. Good job Wuertz, please don't lose that slider this year.
  6. The home run derby will be pretty cool in San Fran this year. I may have to get a kayak and go sit in the bay.
  7. And he'll probably get tendinitis later this week and be out until July.
  8. Cotts did a decent job, now lets see what Wuertz can do.
  9. Saarloos is up It is amazing how far he has fallen. I still remember when he was supposed to be better than Prior.
  10. You're assuming that with 113 pitches they'll pull Harang. They didn't pull him with 97 pitches...or with 103. If he is not laboring, why pull him? Although 113 is getting up there. Because you have a 4 run lead, and it's opening day? Why strain your #1 pitcher on opening day? To help out the rest of the division?
  11. They must close Bob's mic during the Bud Light Fan Cam now....he hasn't made any comment in awhile.
  12. go to class ;) Get out of Missery while you still can ;)
  13. Why are we bringing in Cotts? This is like BP for the Reds, Guzman should be in right now.

  15. Griffey would have broken his wrist diving for that ball. No, he would have popped his hammy there. That is his favorite injury.
  16. Nice hustle play by the Cubs, and a bad play by Freel there.
  17. According to their website it costs $50 if you install it yourself, and $100 for them to install it for you...for that cost I can easily do it myself.
  18. Homer! J/k Vance, I agree with a WR there and I like Bowe but I like Meachem a little more. I checked a number of sites and most had Bowe ranked higher than Meacham or Jarrett. It was down to those three, and the average ranking of the sites I checked had Bowe higher. I was just trying to give you a hard time since Bowe is from LSU, I've got no problems with the pick. I think most sites are a little down on Meachem because he's only had 1 good year, and he is not known as a very tough or physical receiver. I think he's got better physical tools and upside, but Bowe is solid as well. BTW how did he do catching the ball this year? I know that he had problems holding on to the ball in the past, but he had LASIK surgery this past offseason; did that really help him?

  20. As the other resident Titans fan, I feel a bigger need is at WR. They have absolutely no depth there and I can almost definitely see them taking Meachem or Jarrett. Though, nothing against your pick. They do need a good pass rusher. I thought about putting Meachem #1 over Carriker, but because of the horrible defense last year I decided to go there first. The drop off between the 1st and 2nd rounds for DEs and WRs also influenced my decision. There is a good possibility of Steve Smith, Jason Hill, and Sidney Rice still being there in the 2nd round.
