  1. The HD service thru TWC-SA is about $15 extra (box and HD channels) I'm trying to move down to Austin and looked at getting TWC, but it appears that Grande is quite a bit cheaper. What kind of experience do you have with both of them? I've been with TWC since 1998 when RoadRunner became available here in New Braunfels. Before that I had DishNetwork. I don't have any gripes really with TW, I can't even remember the last time my service went out, if ever! I get over 6 Mbps on the downloads with RR. But I wish they offered more HD channels at this time, but they're on their way! Tons of OnDemand channels, so if you don't have a DVR, there will be no problem to catch a replay of your favorite shows. I'd love to have the RR internet, but is it worth the $45/month plus $50-100 for installation?
  2. dew, since you are the resident Titans fan how do you feel about my selection of Carriker?

  4. Good Lord, Nuxhall has a great embalmer, doesn't he ?? What is Lou doing with that hand?
  5. Just out of curiosity, how much do yall pay for HD service? As it is, I feel like $53/month for tv is too expensive, I can't imagine what HD service would cost.
  6. IMO he really isn't. His game is very technically sound...even ARod is taking parts of his game. If hitting .300 every year with around 30 homers and 100+ RBI is over-rated, I'll gladly take him off of the Mets' hands. Oh I don't think he's overrated at all. I think my friend is out of his mind with that statement but I don't argue about it with him anymore, he's believed it for awhile. Let me guess, your friend is a Cards fan who thinks that Rolen is the best 3B in the game?

  8. Excellent news, lets hope Zambrano goes and strikes out 27 Reds tomorrow to prove that he's worth every penny of it.
  9. That a boy Yadier, just keep doing that all year long.
  10. That was intentional so that Molina would come to the plate.
  11. Excellent throw by Beltran...I wish he was in center, and Alfonso was in right.
  12. Alou is a lazy bum, he should've dived for that ball
  13. That was an ugly try by Taguchi, he got way too close to the wall.
  14. If he wins more than 10 games, I'll be flying up to Chicago to attend the Cubs' open tryout next spring.
  15. Glavine is gonna win 20 games this year, and you heard it here first.
  16. He's an android...it will all be revealed this year when an electromagnet strips his memory and he begins to suck
  17. Moises showing off the wheel now too...he must be on roids.
  18. "You're So Awesome" "I know...let's go pitch a tent" That commercial is brilliant.
  19. I hope that Wilson can stay in the 2 spot and do that all year long.
  20. It's coming in just fine for me...of course I don't have HDTV so I don't have to worry about it
  21. Ok here's my entry: Group A- Big Papi David Ortiz Group B- Alfonso Soriano, Carlos Beltran Group C- Vladamir Guerrero, Jeff Francoeur, Miguel Cabrera Group D- Hideki Matsui, Hank Blalock, Mike Piazza, Bobby Abreu, Ryan Zimmerman Wild Card- Delmon Young First Half Transactions:
  22. Since my pick is up after Rocket's I'll go ahead and post this now so that the draft isn't slowed down. Choice #1 Adam Carriker DE Nebraska- 32nd ranked defense last year definitely needs to go D with their first pick. Carriker offers nice versatility in that he can rush the passer quite well, stop the run, and play situationally at DT. Even if they lose Pac-Man for the year, their safeties are pretty good and can pick up the slack so a DB isn't a necessity in the 1st. Choice#2 Robert Meachem WR Tennessee- One of the better size/speed combos in this year's draft. The Titans' current WR corps is injury-prone and very inconsistent. This will give Vince a large, consistent target.
  23. Can anyone tell me what kind of prospect Marco Lamonte is? He plays SS on the same team as Burgess. He hit .440 last year and is hitting .339/.426/.664/1.409 (32 points higher than Burgess) and he's got 5 HR this spring.
