    Anderson isn't even the best defensive CFer in his division, I'd take Sizemore over him.

    James Shields is going to be a pretty good pitcher in their rotation. He's looked pretty good so far tonight. He's gone 5 innings, 2 hits, 1 run (a solo homer in the 1st, 5K's/0BB's. Well it looks like I jinxed him. In the 6th he allowed 4 runs (3 earned) on 2 homeruns.

    Sammy hit a looper off the end of the bat that should have been a hit, but Baldelli made a nice diving play to take it away from him.

    Sammy is starting in RF and batting 5th for the Rangers tonight. Tejada is starting for Texas and gave up a homer to the 2nd batter of the game (Zobrist).

    Manny hit a ball right back through the middle that caught Hernandez on the lower leg/calf, but it deflected straight to Beltre. Hernandez was able to stay in the game and didn't appear to be affected by it.

    Johjima doubled off of Matsuzaka but was stranded at 3rd. The M's did manage to get 1 across in the inning though.

    Who is Amador and where did he come from? He has been in the White Sox's system for the last 7 years playing the middle IF, though he's now playing OF for us. I'm not positive how we ended up with him, but I think he was a minor-league free agent.

    Ichiro grounded back to the pitcher in his first AB.

    With guys like Niemann, Hammel, Talbot, and Sonnanstine in AAA looking quite promising and others scattered throughout their minor league system I don't see a huge need for them to go out and grab SP. Especially at what it is costing right now since they are such a low-budget team. If I were to trade one of the OFer's, it would be either Gomes or Baldelli and I don't think either of them would really fetch anything too special anyway.

    Copycat. :D I was watching the game yesterday when he jacked Weaver's pitch to dead CF and had my mind made up then...I guess great minds think alike?

    I took him in the beginning of the 2nd round. The first re-do of the Draft :lol: 2nd actually, Vance tried to take a CB that had already been selected (McCauley it was, I believe).
