  1. I wonder who #8 on the Hawks is, that dance between innings was entertaining.
  2. Pawelek gets out of the inning with 2 grounders. There is already activity in the bullpen though.
  3. 2 runs score on a single into LF past a diving Puello; Eugene up 3-0 now.
  4. 3rd walk for Pawelek and the bases are loaded; everything is floating high on Pawelek.
  5. 3-2 pitch not even close and another walk for Pawelek.
  6. Wow, that pitch was half way into the LH batters box and the hitter still swung at it for Pawelek's first K.
  7. Leadoff double off the right centerfield wall for Eugene.
  8. The Hawks remind me of the parent club thus far; hitting choppers to the infield, chasing pitches out of the zone.
  9. Joseph takes a walk with 2 out for the first Boise runner of the year, Deryk Lewis is up now.
  10. This is one thing I like about minor league games, no commercials. I enjoy watching the players warming up and tossing the ball around.
  11. The trip to New Orleans, then on to Los Angeles got scrubbed. Went to pick up the first load this morning, and they said "Who?", "What?", "When?". By the time the dust had settled, I'd waisted the whole day, and got nothing to show for it. They found me another load going to Memphis, but it doesn't pickup till morning. [sigh] Just out of curiosity, are you a truck driver?
  12. What'd Blanco do? Gameday is stuck on saying in play-run scoring play.
  13. 2 BB's and 2 HR's in the last 4 batters...this is getting ugly quickly.
  14. It looks like Marshall is hesitant to throw a strike after allowing the HR.
  15. On gameday it was belt-high, right down Broadway.
  16. The game will be called with 1 out in the top of the 5th so it won't count and then the Cubs will lose the makeup game horribly.
  17. Wow, more bad apples on one team than I've heard of in the entire Cubs' system. I guess that's the D-Rays for ya.
  18. I'll say over, the magic number so far seems to be 91.
  19. The MARK!!! It doesn't work as well as The Don or The Sean...but it doesn't matter, lets go Mark!
  20. JJ's fantasy stock will probably take a hit this year. Barber got the chance to prove himself last year when JJ went down, and Barber is going to play a larger role in the offense this year.
  21. Is Baker reading the idiot's guide to managing in the dugout right now?
  22. Several nice breaking pitches by Prior here in the 2nd.
  23. But still, Remlinger has always done better against righties than lefties. Yes, but I think this is one of the places that you really can't fault Remmy. Maybe they should've brought in McBride instead of Remmy, but Remmy made the pitch but it got hit...not much you can do about it
  24. I saw the replay last night and that was just a good play by Ortiz. The ball was up and in but he was able to keep his hands in and he kept his front side closed...not much you can do about that.
