  1. Not running. Cole Kmet on sidelines most plays. What are they even doing? Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  2. Can't ever have nice things man. Defense no offense. Now got an offense and the defense is ass Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  3. Scores on back to back drives to open the game is a first. Should've been 7 instead of 3 this time. Robinson has to catch that inbounds Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  4. Jet sweep to the TE can go in the trash. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  5. Pretty sure Robinson was lined up offside on that TD. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  6. Big day historically for Mitch Trubisky. #NeverForget
  7. Waller and Kittle did well for my opponent, who also had Cook. But none did anything astronomical (all 13.2- 16.5 points). Kyler didn't do a whole lot for me, but 75 rushing yards made his point total (17.85) respectable. Tampa D and Thielen exceeded expectations for me and I have a near 12 point lead with both of us having 3 players go. Projections have me winning by 2.5 Big key for me today may be my emergency pickup at TE, Austin Hooper. I picked him up on waivers a couple days ago, and it turns out Covid taketh away and Covid also potentially giveth to me this week. The Browns WR room is all close contacts with a positive Covid test and I believe all but 1 of them will be out today, making Hooper one of the primary targets against the Jets.
  8. I shouldn't have faith in this team, but I don't see it. Robinson is out for them. Minshew could give them trouble, but don't see it with Glennon starting. I'll be slightly disappointed if they win by single digits. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  9. Bears playoff scenarios Win 2 Win tomorrow, Lose vs Packers. Arizona loses vs LA Rams next week If the Rams lose tomorrow and the Bears win, they can get the 6th seed if the Cards beat the Rams. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  10. PAC-10 Freshman of the year, Ty Jordan killed by gunfire. His cousin came out and said it was someone jealous of his success, but it sounds like he accidentally shot himself. Just a terrible story either way. Over 450 yards in his last 3 games. Promising talent.
  11. That was my first year as a fan too. The Bears have made the playoffs 5 times in my 25 years as a fan. Yeesh. I started watching football when I was 8. The 1981 Chargers-Dolphins playoff game followed by Montana hitting Clark in the back of the end zone the very next weekend. Two of the greatest NFL games of all time. I was hooked. From the time I was 11 until I was 18, the Bears made the playoffs 7 times, won 6 division titles, went to the conference championship game three times, and won a Super Bowl. In the 29 years since, they’ve made the playoffs 6 times. I remember both those '81 playoff games, but I don't know if I remember watching them at 5 of if I remember them from ESPN Classic or something. I vividly remember watching the '84 Cubs season and the '85 Bears Superbowl (in 1986 technically). But I can't say I vividly remember anything before that. I know I watched football as far back as 1981, but who knows when I became an actual fan.
  12. I have Thielen and am going against Cook. I was scared after that first drive. Then Thielen added like 3 catches, 40 yards and a TD in garbage time. For my sake, I'm hoping Kyler is the one that steps up. Yeah I looked at Dalvin Cook didn’t have a touch for the last 19 mins of the game including an entire 10+ play TD drive late in the 4th that he didn’t even step on the field for where the Vikings had 4 straight plays inside the 2. I get that they were down so not running a ton, but their entire season was literally on the line (eliminated with a loss) so I don’t understand why Cook wouldn’t step on the field for an entire desperation drive unless he was hurt His primary backup was out too (along w/ his FB). Not sure why they didn't feed the ball to him constantly in the pass game as well. If he takes a beating and you lose, he has 9 months to heal up.
  13. Man, I am sold on the Nets if they stay healthy. Forget coming out of the East, they are a legit threat to the Lakers if Jarrett Allen continues to play like he did today. If they can get Joe Harris and Dinwiddie more involved (34 ppg combined last year), they are deep enough and have a ton of scoring ability.

  15. i wish they didn't take him out previously and let him score 7. Vuck the Fikings
  16. Vikings' offensive gameplan of targeting whoever Malcolm Jenkins is trying to cover is working out well.
  17. Looks like McCaffery isn't going to come back to help me in the playoffs at all. Apparently Hunter Henry just got the COVID. Was able to pick up LeVeon Bell with CEH out for KC. But of course, someone stupidly dropped Kittle a few weeks ago (despite us having an IR spot), and my opponent was able to pick him up to go along with his regular TE, Darren Waller. So, I face the 2nd and 3rd best TEs in the league, while I'm picking one off the waiver wire. ESPN odds have him favored by 14.5.

    Bulls '20-'21

So, defense not great in that first half

  20. If you go for a mobile guy like Ridder or Jamie Newman, then this newfound gameplan would translate well to the young QB too. Just gotta take the coaching staff to not be stubborn and learn from their mistakes, which remains to be seen
  21. Rams lose against the Jets. Steelers lose against the Bengals. I would say the Bears need to be careful, but I don't see the Jags giving up the gift they just got from the Jets. Hell, you got the mayor of Jacksonville calling the Jets win the biggest moment in the history of the Jags franchise. Be nice if they can extend the 30 point scoring streak.
  22. I had a Draftkings lineup for the Monday night game only. You get to pick a player to be worth 1.5X more than normal. I picked Ebron, and as the game was such a horsefeathers show, I still wound up cashing somehow. In other news, my brother had a 1.6 point lead in his semifinals match up, with his opponent out of players and my brother only had JuJu left. He decided to brave a stat correction loss and benched JuJu, who went on to score negative 2.6 points... I saw on Twitter the same situation. Dude had a 0.45 lead, and left Juju AND Ebron in because of potential stat corrections. Juju had -0.5. Ebron had 0 and got hurt. He lost by 0.05. Also saw someone who lost by 0.02 because Ben took a knee with 8 seconds left down 10 points instead of getting some cheap yardage.
  23. Bears are probably in Trey Lance range, depending on how the NFL feels about Zach Wilson (think draft Twitter likes him more than NFL does). A lot depends on what happens with Trubisky. If Trubisky is gone, they almost certainly have to make a modest move up for a QB to ensure they get one. They can't throw Foles out there. If Trubisky does come back, they can afford to wait for a QB, though I certainly wouldn't pass up Lance or Wilson if in reasonable trade up range or if they fall to wherever the Bears pick. I absolutely LOVE the top tackles in this class. Christian Darrisaw is coming to the Bears in a lot of mocks, but I think he's a top 10 pick. He's every bit as good as those 4 guys who went top 13 last year (2 of which will be all rookie team). Jalen Mayfield (Michigan), Rashawn Slater (Northwestern), Liam Eichenberg (Notre Dame), and I hear Samuel Cosmi from Texas (haven't watched him yet) are all worthy of a pick in the range the Bears will finish at.
  24. Well, I moved forward to the finals in my tie. Feel pretty bad for the guy I tied with, but he beat me in the finals 2 years ago and has won 2 of the last 3 championships. I guess to BE the best team, you have to actually BEAT the best team, which makes sense. But tough to lose without even losing.
  25. Trask moves like a slug. After watching Foles play, I'm not super keen on a QB who can't make plays off his mark. Granted, he's much more mobile than Foles, but when you move him off his spot you get a guy that looks like Cousins on that 4th down yesterday. He panics and can make mistakes when not allowed to sit in the pocket and find an open guy. I just think you need a near perfect offense around him (OL, receivers) for him to have great success. yea, I hate the idea of drafting him and what I mean is that he is a later round project IMO. But I imagine there are other Kyle Murray/Russel Wilson types out there for the taking who would be more worth the gamble (ie shorter, less attention during college, but more athletic). I just don't know who. D'Eriq King from Miami is a very late pick who makes Kyler Murray look big (probably 5'8-5'9) but super athlete. Desmond Ridder is a nice 2nd or 3rd round guy who kinda has a Kaepernick style vibe to his game. Though my comp for him is Deshone Kizer (take that however you want).
