    I lost track of where, but I heard Ross is considering an offer to join the front office in some capacity.

    I interpreted the Javy quote as that he swings at balls outside the zone 80% of the time he's in a full count or whatever it was.

    I'm trying to do this off the top of my head... Davis, Edwards, Rondon, ??? (Uehara?) Yeah, if everyone is healthy, then it's really a toss up for 3-5 between Edwards, Strop and Uehara.

    I was just looking at this site: http://www.rosterresource.com/mlb-chicago-cubs/ First off, it's worth bookmarking because it has a lot of great info. Second, it hit me that if everyone is full strength, our fifth best reliever might be Strop and sixth is Grimm.

    Is there a waitlist for season tickets? If there is one, then I could see the Cubs wanting to give people that want to attend most of the games themselves a shot at the expense of people that sell most of them off.

    I really hope we don't give up that much for Odorizzi.

    I still really like Musgrove and Paulino from Houston. I think Musgrove would be too expensive for the type of thing you're talking about here. But Paulino has a combination of a poor audition and some behavioral stuff in his background that might make him cheaper.

    he better be on the team, I'm excited to have somebody older than me on the roster. I think that ship has sailed for me unless they bring in Bartolo Is Jamie Moyer still pitching somewhere?

    Don't we still have Aaron Crow hanging around somewhere or is he gone? Aaron Crow sucks and I don't care enough to see if he's still around. If we're reaching to Iowa for a right hander, it will be Pena. Word is Uehara is only going to cost $4.5M.

    He'll be their Josh Hamilton.

    I fully expect Strop to be Strop. That was just a leg injury and he should be fine heading into next year. Rondon? Dunno. He still had the velocity but the command was missing. That could be a sign or it could have been something that will be okay with rest.

    UGH Yeah, I would have preferred this risk over Jay. yes, but I imagine he wants a guaranteed starting role to rebuild his value.

    If Davis is healthy, I'm happy enough with this. Now I kind of want to sign Holland, also, to have 2/3 of the pen that got KC to the world series.
