  1. Go all the way back to 2009 which would give them literally the entire time the Cubs sucked between the playoff appearances as well as the last 3+ seasons. The Cubs have gone 45-35 against the Brewers at Wrigley. The Brewers have won the season series at Wrigley 3 times (2017, 2013, 2012), they split once (2010) and the Cubs have won in 6 times. Edit: I see others are furiously doing the math too...but mine goes back to 2009! No math required. Just my link. B-R is awesome.
  2. Here's a handy link: https://www.baseball-reference.com/play-index/head2head.cgi?teams=CHC&from=2015&to=2018 Cubs vs Mil from 2015 - 2018: Home: 20-12 Road: 22-11 We completely own them over the past few years. But perhaps that's not fair since that's our big window. How about 2012 - 2018: Home: 32-27 Road: 31-30 Yeah, we still have a winning record. Carry on.
  3. Actually, I think they belong squarely on the "ignore" list. They're just not worth the time.
  4. That's not how the LT calculation works. It uses the AAV of the contract. I do think there's a possibility of doing something like 12/480 instead of 10/450, which would help significantly. My hope is that after winning another title in 2018, Zobrist decides he's had enough days under the bright lights and retires. The championship halo surrounds a somewhat resurgent Heyward and we can find a team willing to take on half his salary. That gives us more than enough flexibility under the max penalty to get it done. Lineup: 1) RF - Harper 2) 3B - Bryant 3) 1B - Rizzo 4) C - Contreras 5) LF - Schwarber 6) 2B - Baez 7) CF - Happ 8) SS - Russell
  5. 31.2 IP for Duensing, CJ & Morrow - 1 run allowed
  6. Edwards and Morrow both available today. Get Chatwood for one more and we should be good.
  7. I think it will soon be time to move Almora and Baez back down the order.
  8. Had it the whole time. Not a horrible pitch count, either.
  9. Is that good? It seems pretty good.
  10. I don't remember being anti-Javy. I remember arguing strenuously against sneaky about it, actually.
  11. I'm curious if sneaky still thinks Alcantra will be better.
  12. I think you're selling Bote short at this point. I think he really has taken a step forward.
  13. Here is the process: Go to the user control panel, choose the Board Preferences tab, then the Edit Display Options selection. There you can choose "no" to the Enable word censoring option. There you go, bitches.
  14. okay, we fell short of the goal. So we're getting a compromise. Everyone now has the ability to disable the swear filter for themselves, but it stays on for the board as a whole. Since I'm a day late, I'll leave that option in place for a week.
  15. Since it is apparently okay to hack into other team's scouting systems, can we just do that to see how other teams pitch Cervelli?
  16. Listening on the radio. Did Happ misplay it? Tough play, but a more experienced CF would probably make it.
  17. A team that employs Sean Rodriguez has no room to complain about other teams' behaviors.
  18. I want Javy and Willson to annoy the fans of other, lesser teams for years and years.
