  1. I LOVE Schwarber's bat, but man the Cubs defense is extremely bad. I don't have the stats to back it up, but numbers have to agree with that statement don't they? Between Castro's routine mess-ups, Fowler's notorious bad CF play, Soler's real bad ball routes and dropped fly balls and now Schwarber behind the plate, it is painful. Thank God we'll never see Schwarber behind the plate with Lester on the mound, I would let Eddie Murphy's Nutty Professor character steal on that combo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. How many times can we keep watching the same mistakes and keep justifying them with "youth?" Castro is not a rookie anymore. He also should not be the starting shortstop. A week of benching him would not hurt the Cubs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yea, like coaching my future kid's little league team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Wade Miley gave up 5 for the Red Sox in the 1st as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Remember when people didn't wanna trade Corey Patterson..Brett Jackson..Donnie Veal.. Josh Vitters.. I'm not saying they should do it, it was just a "it'd be tempting" scenario with the struggles the Cubs have had. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Is it still a thing where a team can trade for a player with the contingency of a certain window of time to extend that player? Why hasn't that been talked about with Price? If the Cubs have exclusive opportunity to sign him, that would hold a lot of value over waiting until the offseason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. One trade that would be so tempting, but I don't think I'd pull the trigger on: Soler for Chapman. I bet the Reds would do it, Cubs most likely wouldn't, but damn it'd be tempting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Whether the Cubs score 0 or 4 runs this inning, there's no reason for Beeler to be back out there in the 2nd. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I had the option to go to tonight's game or tomorrow. I looked at who was pitching for the Cubs today and that was all I needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Wood was by no means good, but at least you could count on him to have a plan. It might take 5 or 6 runs to win, but at least he can eat innings. Turner.. We've had our looks on him.. We should have had no reason to believe he would provide anything to the Cubs team this year. If he could have surprised us, great, but the only pitcher some people might have expected anything out of was Wada. Even Wada's stuff wasn't good, but at least he wasn't obviously out of place at the big league level. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. At least Marcum has had stretches of success to justify starts. Beeler has no right to be in the majors, nonetheless making starts against the Cardinals, getting shelled and getting another start. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm sorry, but this poor organizational management. You could watch this guy throw a bullpen and know he's nothing better than a minor league journey man. How can you put this organization in a position where you haven't had all that bad of fortune health wise this year that you have to rely on Beeler? I feel like anyone in the organization would legitimately pitch as well as Beeler and that is not exaggeration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. But seriously, I'm pretty positive myself and David Ross can do what Beeler is doing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. How is Beeler the Cubs best option in their system for a 5th starting spot? Between him and Wada, that's the best we can do? Pitching depth is not a strong point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Well I'm looking forward to continuing our relationships going forward. I truly do appreciate all your feedback and I love sharing my opinions with you!! You guys are doing a great job! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I love Archie and Eli Manning.. And I miss Duece McCallister. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I'd love to know what I say that is so ridiculous? I voice my extreme (doesn't even describe it) frustration for the Cubs pen. I get ridiculed for saying my opinion and I get guys who say "just because it's your opinion, doesn't make it smart." So when a scout makes a prediction on a player, what is he doing? I feel as if we are "scouts" in our own baseball world, some are better than others. My view is that the bullpen is a disaster, others probably disagree. However I will say, it doesn't matter what someone like me says anymore, could be completely logical and intelligent and people will still be like "no way in hell, he said, I'm gonna disagree." If you disagree, don't acknowledge it, or discuss it.. If you feel it's "gibberish," move along. If you agree with it, it's ok.. Your other little pals here won't disown you.. Or they might.. You're right, they probably will.. I'd hate for you to be removed off their top 8 on MySpace. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Alex Guerrero is being discussed in trade talks per Ken Rosenthal. That could be an interesting target for a platoon bat in the outfield. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. Oh I've noticed.. I've received messages from a couple guys on here asking me not to leave and telling me to just shrug off the little clique on here.. Chances of me stopping posting - just not gonna happen. If people don't like what I have to say, no one is forcing them to read or reply to it. It's baseball, there's not really a bad opinion unless it's completely out of nowhere. I bet there were some Blue Jays fans out there that said "we should trade for Tulo" and there's probably a million fans who were probably like you're an idiot, we wouldn't ever do that, that's just stupid... Well.. Ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Sorry, I enjoy when you guys hate on me and I prove you all wrong :) Kimbrel will be a Cub. Granted, that's my prediction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Jose Reyes or Tulo going to the Mets? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Tulo to Jays. Wow. That helps the next two days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. The average Cubs fan would say the Cubs need to improve their offense, which is just ridiculous. Their offense needs to develop and it is what it is right now - very young. It's going to make us happy as can be at times and make us want to pull our hair out other days. It would make no sense to make a drastic move for a hitter. A Zobrist trade or similar to him, that makes sense. The Cubs need another starter who is at minimum consistent. Even an Ian Kennedy would be better than Beeler, Wada, or Wood. He'd be cheap and low-risk without risking any future. They also need 2 bullpen arms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
