  1. Arizona you're right. favre threw 34 passes, 24 completions, and 6 TD It's amazing that the Jets only scored in two quarters. And the Cards scored 34 in the second half Does that mean they scored 1 point in the first half?
  2. CC with the playoff hat on. Go Mets
  3. Why pitch Sabathia again on short rest in game 2? You can only get one start out of him in the NLDS anyway so it doesn't really make any sense to not let him get rested up for a potentially more effective start in game 3. It would have been risky, but maybe the Brewers should have held back using Bush today and started him tomorrow and then have Sabathia for the one game playoff against the Mets on Monday if necessary. You figure with the bullpen pitching for the Cubs tomorrow they should have been able to count on getting a win even with Bush pitching (and he looked better against the Cubs last time than Sabathia) and if they had lucked out with a Mets loss Sunday they would have had Sabathia ready to pitch twice in the NLDS. If the goal really was to win it all and not just limp into the playoffs the strategy they are using of riding Sabathia into the ground down the stretch seems a bit odd. If you start game 2, you can start game 5 on regular rest. Pretty easy call.
  4. I've always found white outs funny, in that they are cheering against the team wearing all white.
  5. Lets get at it! I L L !
  6. Fixed for those who have a brain. No brain = ditching responsibilities to watch Cubs? close call Your responsibilities have nothing to do with the teams on the field. I would rather face a weaker opponent knowing 90% of cubs fans couldn't watch.
  7. Fixed for those who have a brain.
  8. Why not pitch game 2 on normal, and then 5 on normal rest?
  9. No, the pinch runner does circle the bases. Happened to Kapler about 2 years ago. http://www.projo.com/redsox/content/projo_20050915_15rsoxjo.1826fa1f.html
  10. I hope you are being sarcastic....cause the Twins are nowhere near being the "dumbest org in pro sports." Blue words mean it is linked. Try clicking it.
  11. If the Cubs go to the WS, win or lose, Chicago is NOT getting the Olympics. Bet on it. Very true. I hope Chicago doesn't get them either. Why spend all this money on crap, when you could spend that money to fix the CTA The Olympics would likely mean an upgraded CTA
  12. Sadly, I did not renew my season tickets.
  13. Boy, you're all about the set up on that one.
  14. Even the print at home option? I also wish I could trade my print at home ticket in for a real ticket for souvonier purposes. If only there were an option to have tickets shipped to you..... :-))
  15. I assume they will not be crediting the 15.50 fedex (same with the 2.50 for print at home) nor the 3.50 processing back
  16. Thats kharma for bringing ths info to us. Well done sir.
  17. Its voluntary. And how does this make Daley a crook? The city would actually be losing revenue as well if this went down.
  18. Dammit, it's "dammit", not "damnit". Nothing personal, I just keep seeing this pop up on the board and it's mildly annoying. Damm you!
  19. Its benches, but reserved (like the Cubs during the playoffs). Usually its not terribly packed so you would be able to sit together, but I assume Sunday it should be sold out. Depends on how many friends you have trying to squeeze in. I'm going with 3 other people. What do you mean it's reserved like Wrigley does in post-season? the bleachers have seat numbers and rows, its not like wrigley where its first come first served. meaning its just like any other seat And conversely, during the playoffs the bleachers at Wrigley arre assigned.
  20. NO WAY! IT WILL GO ON HIS PERMANENT RECORD! Eh, maybe I do take high school a bit too seriously, but still. There's also the makeup work I'd have to do. This is absolutely hilarious. High School may seem important to you now, but it does not matter at all. You will never skip? Come on.
  21. I have plans on making the drive to MIL, PHIL, or NY for the NLCS week if need be. I would also Fly to AZ.
