  1. Give my phone number to any strange men lately Vance? lol.
  2. Hey take the piss at least we wouldn't of just given 5 runs up to el fatto in 2 games Wait, how would we have avoided that? It amazes me how much laughter this comment got at important times ie when Marmol strugglees how many times does aramis step in 2 calm him down. With runners on how many times do the infield chat to make sure they set up properly. All i was saying is that someone.....anyone could of told Lou/Howry that this guy kills us geez get a life. This post is full of fail.
  3. Plesac didn't do too badlt in the Sox game tonight. Certainly better than the usual Hawk/DJ banter.
  4. marquis is on the field, that means there are likely going to be runs scored
  5. They make them. I have one, really sharp (relatively speaking). I think I got it in a Sports Authority.
  6. It should be noted that you need to be named on 75% of the ballots that are turned in. If someone does not turn in a a ballot, they are not used in determining the the 75% mark. For a guy like Santo, it is much better that someone not turn in a ballot, as ooposed to turning in a blank one.
  7. Go Chiefs. Lets enjoy our 4-12, 5-11 season.
  8. Just wanted to make sure this is clear, as it may have been muddied by posts that came after it. My initial reaction was tounge in cheek, I enjoy night games very much. In moderation, they seem special, an event of sorts.
  9. The quote in you sig is older than you too!
  10. You mean you'd rather see the Cubs sweltering in the heat of the August sun and burning out like in 1969? Did they burn out in the 1984 sun? 1984 was the coolest Summer on record to that point. So cool in fact, that they managed to finish the final three months with records of 18-10, 20-10, and 16-11. This after the first three months were 12-8, 15-12, 15-14. Cool or ortherwise, they did better in the second half, by a wide margain.
  11. You mean you'd rather see the Cubs sweltering in the heat of the August sun and burning out like in 1969? Also, Cubs record in August of 69....18-11

  13. We should know the results the first week of March.
  14. I thought you said there was one good? I don't see any.
  15. Game chat, AIM room: lolpirates
  16. The Cubs lost their 1:20 game because they got in late from the bus ride down from Milwaukee (1:05 gametime yesterday)? What time was the Pirates game today? 1:20 as well.
  17. too slow... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/baseball/mlb/07/31/manny.sweepstakes/index.html?eref=T1 manny to LA bay to BOS
  18. And you heard it from Steve Stone. http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0S020oKyZFIEoUBa6SjzbkF/SIG=12qkiqpv7/EXP=1217600138/**http%3A//home.swiftdsl.com.au/~haydn/funny_pics/owned_pics/owned-dog.jpg
  19. Latroy has already been back to Wrigley. 3 times in 2005, once in 2007.
  20. I agree that Manny is a, well, whatever he is, but even if the Red Sox DO finally ship him out, Manny's not going to stop Being Manny. He'll just become a clubhouse cancer with the new team. Not right away maybe, but it'll develop soon enough. There are only about 55 games left.
  21. I'll take the whole lot, PM sent.
