  1. Can Packers fans afford to shop at a stpre as fancy as Sears?
  2. He got it, barely. Why not just fall over?
  3. The "yellow line" is usually a lot better than that.
  4. If 4th, go for it.
  5. Each colored star is a year as Captain.
  6. Easiest trivia ever?
  7. No matter how little of I think of people, they still manage to disappoint me.
  8. Retired after 1890. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/sundabi01.shtml
  9. A good win for the team, a good showing by Rose.
  10. these dumb articles always come out before big games. but why don't they go down the rest of the factors? of course there's more to do in nyc. but new york is also overcrowded, traffic-ridden and overpriced . the colts play in a nice stadium and the jets play in a dump in the middle of a toxic wasteland. the jets' coach is a morbidly obese loudmouth and the colts' coach is a classy, effective leader. so really... F the jets. The Jets have played their last game at Giants Stadium. and have played zero games in new giants stadium... so there we are. So we agree that you comment about playing in a dump was dumb. Good.

  12. Me either, he's loyal to a fault. His high school firends are still all around him, one's his agent. He got another one a job with Calipari. I think he stays. Paxson can just offer to move them all into nice houses in Chicago. Problem solved, LeBron's a Bull. :pig: Let one of them coach.
  13. To ensure uniformity of the name when being reported on would be my guess. So all outlets call it "Twenty-Fourteen", rather than it being called "Two Thousand Fourteen" by some channels. It's to commemorate the uniform numbers of two Cubs greats. Ernie Banks (14) and... uhm... Felix Pie? O.K., maybe not. 20's the come to mind for me are Jerome Walton, Corey Patterson, Adolfo Phillips, Bobby Dernier.
  14. Harry Caray.
  15. The backs may be even worse: http://www.coreybrinn.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/reds-bp-hat-2010-3-300x225.jpg
  16. Sorry to pull a hit and run on you, but I didn't want to bother you by your bosses.
  17. Because a ton of players have used PED's over the decades and everyone freakin' loved the Steroid Era when it was going down? so you mean to tell me that if Sosa admitted to steroid use and showed up at the Cubs Convention two weeks later, he should receive love and adulation from all in attendance? Wouldn't bother me if he did. If I was there I'd be one of the ones cheering him on. If someone wants to look down on it, whatever, fine, but it shouldn't be a surprise that a lot of people still love these players. When the Sosa flag was offered as a Bingo prize, nearly the entire place (1,500?) erupted in Boo's. Not apples to apples of course (stands to reason more ardendt supporters would show for an appearance), but it was a very strong negative reaction.
  18. I was there again, had a blast. Wife and I each sported our NSBB shirts, but they were under hoodies much of the time (sorry, it was cold) Would've said hi had I seen you Tim.
  19. No, not at all, just a couple seconds. 2:12 1st down snapped 2:00 2nd down snapped Timeout 1:55 3rd down snapped 2:12 1st down snapped Timeout 2:06 2nd down snapped 2:00 3rd down snapped EDIT: reading your post again, you meant the actual gameplay time, in that case agreed. Sorry, I had the argument before that it saves like 40 seconds. Carry on.

  21. Best half hour of sports I have seen in a very long time.
  22. Good game tonight, crowd was good, not great.
  23. MLBN reported yesterday that it would be at ULM.
  24. false harden is also 3 years younger Ha, Ha. You actually believe that Rich Harden is as good as Ben Sheets Only if you look at them pesky statistics.
  25. Novoa and Fox. More specifically, Chad Fox (as opposed to Jake Fox). Yes, with thanks to our friend Kasey. http://www.cubsbythenumbers.com/cubs-all-time.html
