  1. Fitting that the first time I see both Wood, and The Santo patch, is in the same photo.
  2. Anyone that wins, I will gladly work something out. Be it for the code, the tickets, etc. For cash, tickets at Wrigley, or to the Bulls, etc.
  3. I may poke around for some Opening Day tickets for personal use, but aside from that I doubt I will buy anything else.
  4. They are yelling "Booooooz!'
  5. The East should really put up some points, playing 5 on 4 until the first round of substitutions. (Yes I know he'll be replaced.)
  6. Yeah, too many connections and "mySQL"
  7. Can you name me a player who retired (whether he just quit or because of injuries) while still on his contract and not get paid at all whatsoever?? Cuz I can't think of one. If you can and it's legit, I'll shut up and eat my words on it. I'm just thinking cuz the player's union is going to back up the players, they're just not gonna let the owner have that money to himself even if Meche doesn't want the money. I mean I'm even trying to think of a player (who quit/retired due to injury) during a season and not get paid after he was done cuz they still pay him for the rest of the year. That's a little different, but still kinda the same (they didn't pay the player a prorated portion of the salary cuz he retired/quit partway through the season cuz the contract was voided the day he retired). I mean this can't be the first time someone ever done what Meche is doing now right??? Maybe I should just shut up cuz I don't understand or something... Maybe there is a clause in the contract where the contract is voided if you retire on your own term. I don't have that much knowledge about the contract and retirement so I'm just wondering and trying to figure it out. Mike Matheny. GM: We will pay you 10 million a year to pitch for us for the next 5 years. Player: Deal. Four years later. Player: I played 4 years, but will not be playing anymore. Association: Dear GM, please pay the player for year #5. GM: F off.
  8. Belle was kept on the 40 man for three years in order to collect on the insurance. Bonilla, as you said, was bought out. This has to be a joke.
  9. yes, although he probably didn't feel like dealing with the pain and rehab that it would take to get back to pitching in the major leagues. that being said, almost everyone in the major leagues and probably on planet earth would take $12 million to do that, so more power to him. Yeah more power to him, but he should've at least tried and get that $12 million then flip it back to the community or charities or something.... instead of giving it back to the owners? Still, either way, it's not something you see everyday and bravo to Meche... Also... I wonder how the MLBPA gonna take this? I doubt that they'll let this go and let Meche give $12 million back, even if he does retire. When the last time they let a player give money back to the organization??? You do realize he isn't writing a check right? He hasn't been paid for 2011 yet.
  10. It's not, but why? Bad luck. You can't really believe this. I don't think we'll lose because of it, but if we do some moron is going to bring it up and it's going to annoy me. You were just that guy.
  11. 284 Its not as much fun when you delete your triple post.
  12. I just got back on the site a few min ago. There was a good 15 min there (beginning maybe 30 min ago) that I couldn't get to NSBB or 312sports.com. No error, but only cuz I didn't let it clock long enough to get one. Same
  13. Got through on both right away, with no success.
  14. Does anyone know how many PAs Hill had in 2009?
  15. Cornelison singing at 11:20 and 1:50, big day. I'll be in a Windsor (going to the Hawks @ Wings game on Saturday) sportsbook with a bachelor party.
  16. Noon game. For the first time since college, I'm cool with it.
  17. Yeah, casinos are dumb. Casinos aren't attempting to determine who will win by what. I'm well aware of how casinos work. Casino's think 3 points will split the betting money. You suggested 10 would be a good line. Which is idiotic.
  18. Yeah, casinos are dumb.
  19. It's 3. http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/
  20. Bellin Hospital. 1986. Lived about a mile and a half from Lambeau and would go with my dad to practice. Best day as a kid was getting Reggie White's autograph at camp. Boom. Roasted.
  21. Seriously. This better not go to 2OT
