Lou is so impatient he's probably already tempted to write Johnson on the lineup card but he already wrote Theriot on every single card for the whole year. PIE NEEDS TIME TO ADJUST, I'm not worried at all.

Theriot is the brightest example of Cubs management incompetence. He's a horrible SS, whom, 2 years ago, people were wondering if he had enough to be a competent utility man, and now he's the everyday leadoff man. He fills the position that most needed replacement going into the season, and management did nothing. Pitchers are just going to throw him strike after strike because he's not a threat to do anything with most pitches. Through no fault of his own, he's the current symbol for all that has ailed the Cubs of the Andy/Hendry ERA. The next good short stop on the market should be a coming attraction at Wrigley, Theriot sucks. It would be ideal if Cedeno was given the job now and if he struggled they got a good SS in a trade, Fuku Theriot.

glad I put him at util almost left him on the bench. I got him in the last round of a 12 team league with some knowledgeable people in it. My last second gut feeling last night had me move Fukudome to my 4th outfield spot. Thanks gut wooot!

The only thing I can think of is Theriot had a decent month or two and Pie hasn't (at the big league level) Pie's MiLB numbers kill Theriot's. Pie needs a 4-6 week period to adjust and then he will be fine. The Cubs are going to ruin this guy! They will shake continue to move him in and out and he will never gain any confidence at the MLB level! I agree with you. I'm just trying to find logic in the Cubs. Maybe that is my problem Cubs and logical don't mix well.

Pie shouldn't be batting 8th either. He won't get anything to hit there. Yeah, but what I want to know is how long do you think Theriot gets before Lou loses his patience?

How long will Lou put up with Theriot's suck before he gives Cedeno/Patterson(at 2B with DeRo at SS)/Fontenot a shot? It makes me ANGRY that Pie has a shorter leash than Theriot. Pie shouldn't have to worry about losing his job, Theriot should though.

I laughed. Hard. Best description I could think of to describe his hit, it was probably going 15 miles per hour off of his bat, well obviously thats a lie but thats how weak it was. The fact that we have a team this good starting Ryan Theriot makes me wanna cry. He is terrible. So the question I have, how long will Lou put up with his suck before he gives (hopefully) Cedeno or (hopefully not) Fontenot a shot?
