This was my point when I said that Soriano and his salary is worse than if we had Murton in left plus an upgrade at SS and SP.

no Eh, I know. Let me rephrase it. Matt Murton+Great shortstop > Alfonso Soriano at his outrageous price tag Fonzo's money could have gone to getting a better SS and a good starting pitcher.

actually if you run the numbers its best to spread your "guaranteed" outs around the lineup so it doesn't kill rally's, so its actually not that bad to split Pie and Theriot I thought most people around here think Pie is going to hit his way out of being an "automatic out". I think he will get a lot better as the season goes on. (hopefully)
