Nothing like a good, unwarranted, backhanded comment to break up the day. It wasn't backhanded to posters, I'm just not on the Dubois wagon, and his plate patience (or lack thereof) is frustrating me as much as CP's. That's fine, but that doesn't justify you declaring that he's going to strike out three times when the game hasn't even started yet. It was a pessimistic prediction, and I was wrong anyway.

I don't know what constitutes being on the bandwagon, but I think Dubois will do okay against Willis tonight. As long as he continues to try to go the other way. Has he tried to go the other way really? Most of his hits have been pulls, hence the GIDP yesterday. Other than the HR against the Sox I haven't seen many at-bats where he goes the other way. I don't think any of the Cubs will do well against Willis tonight, it's gonna be frustrating to watch all around.

Well the Dubois Band Wagon should be happy tonight. He'll get to K 3 times against D-Train.

Well Holly has gone from .200 to .254 in the last week and half. You have to be swinging the bat pretty well to do it. Doobie will get his at-bats. During the first 5 weeks Holla played 75% Doobie 25% and Holly sucked. During the next 3-4 weeks Doobie played 75% and Holly 25% and Doobie was adequate at best. Now the last 2 weeks they've probably played half and half, and Holly is on fire. You gotta ride it.
