Yeah, how dare he expect Marmol to throw 35 pitches in the last week! His arm is going to fall off throwing so many pitches!!! Don't you want Marmol to be able to pitch tomorrow in case it's actually close? What's the benefit of having him pitch tonight? With his control lately, no, not really. I'd rather see him work with big leads so if what happens tonight happens, it doesn't lose the game for us.

Don't let facts get in the way of some good Lou bashing. There was a day off in between those days too. That's not to say I agree with the move, but the ridiculous hyperbole in here is laughable.

You have an incredibly short memory. remember what happened to Prior when he returned from the DL in 2003. 10 games in a row almost all in the 110+ PC range, some over 120. Lou is a mensa member compared to Dusty.

Yea his .394 OBP is totally reminicent of past Cubs players. And you're going on ignore. Thank god for that feature. Added him a long time ago. Kind of the Junior High version of ignoring someone, where rather than ignore them, you talk about ignoring them. Interesting that you seem to know so much about Junior High behaviour, no?
