  1. we all know the infection is going to spread and his hand is going to fall off.
  2. Len and Bob pronounce Dopirak alot different than I do. Is it L De-PARICK DO-pirack
  3. How the hell is Jeff Fassero still on a ML team?
  4. If you're going to tell me I'm wrong I'd hope that would know more about this subject matter, otherwise, it's pretty pointless. Again, why do so many people think they are medical experts when it's clear they are not? And what makes you more of an expert than someone who has actually gone through this type of operation? Since I have also had this procedure done, I guess that means I don't know jack about it, either. If you read his earlier posts, it seems, though I'm not sure, that he is a PHYSICIAN. I can  too.
  5. Can you please list numbers that show this?
  6. Total and complete truth. Hendry was getting his feet put in the fire for not getting a good closer last season and then ALL of them went down with injuries, and surprisingly, you don't here much about that anymore. And I'm sure whomever has a defensive response to this statement was one of those blaming Hendry for not getting a closer. I do wish Dempster had been the closer all year though, but that's not up to Hendry to determine the lineups, that's on Dusty. A lot of people who are harshest on Hendry had no desire to see him go after Troy. In fact, the media, which keeps referring to all the heat Hendry took for not getting a real closer while talking about Troy's injury, were the ones most passionately arguing that they should have gone hard after Troy. There was a lot of relief on this board when Percival signed prior to visiting the Cubs. Quit trying to instigate fights with these ridiculous accusations. Whatever. There was no accusations. Why am I not surprised that you were the one who became defensive about this?

  8. How is them getting embarrassed last year any different than them getting embarrassed in 2004, or 2003, or 2002, etc., etc., etc. I wouldn't say they got embarassed in 2003, though it was a dissappointing end to a magical season.
  9. I read that they sold 800,000 tickets...
  10. 17 people viewed this and not a single one can give me ANY pointers? :( :?
  11. NL only, 10 teams 7X7 rotisserrie scoring. Any general guidlines on how I should go about drafting? What positions are most important? when do I take SP's? What do I take first? When do I take RP's? For example in Fantasy football, RB's are the most important, and most people wait until middle rounds to pick up a QB. ANY advice on how to do this, would be awesome (once again it's NL only).
  12. He magically turned into a Sox fan at the end of last year. Poser. Tell me it ain't so, :(
  13. Has John Cusack ever sung it? I now he's a huge Cubs fan, but I don't remember him singing it.
  14. Hey do you know the customer service number for the cubs ticketing? Apparently, dodger195@yahoo.com exists, so someone else got my confirmation emails. I hope they can't print out the print at home tickets!
  15. Seth - What email did you use for me again?
  16. Seth motherf'ing rules the world. Thanks man! He isn't going to rip any of you off, he's been on NSBB for awhile and is reputable. Let him help!
  17. well that pretty much cements the fact that your opinions on anything baseball related won't be listened to or respected by me.
  18. SSIA. I know it's a national TV station, but not all markets carry WGN. I was wondering if I could find this information out.
  19. Then why in the mother#%#$@%$#@ hell was he not shelved earlier? They say the same damn things every year.
  20. Ahem Ahem. (Madison, WI.)
  21. I thought Farnsworth was a gutless choking dog? Wasn't that estabilished last summer?
  22. I would bet Cedeno outperforms Neifi. But I'd hesitate to bet that the Cubs 2006 SS production eclipses the Cubs 2005 SS production. Well that all depends on how much time Dustbrain gives to Cedeno over Neifster. But your statement very well might be right, since Nomar was on fire when he came back - and it's doubtful Cedeno will put up those 2nd half Nomar numbers in his first full year at SS.
  23. Cedeno is the same or worse than Neifi? Murton is the same or worse than Hollandsworth/Dubois/Lawton? Not in my eyes. I don't see it as any certainty that Cedeno would significantly outproduce Neifi's 2005 production in a full season. If you would like to place a wager on it I will. Even with neifi's amazing april/may, his final numbers were still just plain awful. Cedeno will easily best those numbers. And Since I'm the bandWGN driver, I have to show my support and faith - so if people want to be totally pessimistic, I'm willing to place down a friendly wager....
