Wow. colon already punched a fellow teammate in the weight room, according to reports. sounds like a class act. oh, and he's most definitely a huggy recruit. That was classy by Colon, that's for sure. Also, I've never seen a basketball player with a mohawk before. :shock:

Hahahah Butch Davis just said he thinks he can make UNC football into a National Championship contender. I understand you hafta say good things, but start with like a decent bowl game or in the conference championship game or something.

Mark Prior doesn't do the towel drill because he got hurt, he's done it since at least USC, if not longer, to keep his arm loose and to keep his form, if I'm not mistaken.. But funny, original joke anyways.

He already plays a plus major-league CF, and projects to continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Gotcha. I was just under the impression that he wasn't your typical "speed/range/glove" center fielder. So more like Damon than Pierre? A lefty Mike Cameron with some extra speed and not as much patience at the plate. That's what we're all excited about? I've never been all that excited about him. I'm very pro-shipping him off for a quality starter while everyone is all high on him. I don't wanna see another Patterson mess. -
Nooo. Lugo Bad for going to Red Sox. Were we ever serious contenders for Lugo or was that all just rumor? I thought I remember hearing or reading that Piniella really wanted him, but I'm not really sure. I think it was last week,chicagosports.com said the cubs talked to him and he was willing to play CF if he came to chicago... His bat plays way, way better at SS than it does in CF. If he's getting signed, it had better be to play SS. Put Soriano in CF and hope it works out. The plan was to put him in CF until Pie was ready..Then move him to SS If you can sign Lugo, you put him at SS because you can afford to have Pie at CF and batting 8th to develop with people like Soriano, Ramirez, Lee, Lugo, Barrett, Murton, and DeRosa in the lineup. Ship Jones off in a deal for a pitcher.
