  1. lol wat i was kind of 3/4ths paying attention, but they were asked what teams they like in the big 12. jay williams said texas and hubert davis said missouri. i thought maybe it was a joke, but they had a video package all set up and he actually said all of the players' names, so i don't know what to think we paid him to say that.
  2. and now i'm getting my hopes up again, thanks towers.
  3. mavs actually look like a real team all of the sudden. i'm not anticipating it will last
  4. itd be great if you could do that in columbia this year. thanks.
  5. If Coffman doesn't get the Mackey I'll lose my mind.
  6. It really doesn't bother you? Not only was Snyder fielding awful teams by the end of his tenure, but he's about 70 years old and hasn't coached in 4 years. Furthermore, how is he going to recruit any talent there knowing that he's just a placeholder coach? With all the JUCO's they have leaving after next year they might have a 30 man roster in 2010. Well, last time I checked, Joe Pa is 81, and I don't see any signs of him slowing down. Sure he had a few bad teams thrown in the mix, but Penn State is doing well. Age is just a number, and as long you're doing the job, I could care less if you're 105 years old. Also, I'd be careful if I were a KU or a MU fan, considering that Snyder's team has completely owned those two schools during his first time around. Really, it's going to depend on who Bill is going to get his assistants. One way or another, it has to be an improvement over Ron Prince's coaching staff, as they were all just awful. MU and KU aren't even close to being the same programs that they were 5 years ago. Neither is KSU.
  7. wrong. Don't worry, you're much better off that way. wrong.
  8. I'm really not looking forward to losing to them again.
  9. So, uh...Bill Snyder is returning to coach K-State next year. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5hiJMMQs6Q1MGZMzOT4lCOOwZ3tsQD94L2HC80
  10. have fun in the Holiday Bowl, Texas Tech Don't think they'll get the Cotton? I'm still holding hope that the Holiday takes Mizzou. I talked to one of their committee people at one of our home games and he sad they really like us, but we'll see what happens.

  13. there we go, nice job briggs
  14. that ball didnt touch the ground
  15. hey what do you know vasher is hurt again
  16. that was awesome by forte, regardless of the flag. oh wow defensive. awesome.
  17. no it wasnt. he got 100 yards, then the next play was stopped due to a false start.
  18. big win for Mizzou today over #19 USC, 83-72. great to see after choking one away against another top-25 team in Xavier the other day. nice to get a big win like that this early in the season
  19. i agree with the announcer, i think the big amount of offensive reps is contributing to hester's lack of impact in the return game. either he's not trying as hard so he's rested for the offense, or he's too tired from offense to get much going in his returns.
  20. Seems that way. Just getting Forte some rest with such a big lead.
