Mets outfielder Fernando Martinez will be claimed shortly by an NL Central team, tweets ESPN's Enrique Rojas. The team appears to be the Astros, based on this tweet from Rojas. Baseball America named Martinez one of the top 100 prospects in the game before each of the 2007-10 seasons, and at age 23, he's worth a 40-man roster spot for some teams.

The only thing he cares about is football. He's kinda depressed right now. You internet cool guys keep talking [expletive].. cracks me up. I only care about football? You know absolutely nothing. Because I'm not a Mizzou fan, you feel you can just degrade and talk [expletive]. More power to ya. I'm pretty sure he was implying that OU fans only care about football... Absolutely. There aren't any easy games left (except maybe OU because i mean lol) OU basketball typically draws like 5 people (6 if i were still in Norman), so no one cares. i know that was just for imb even though i know he has no idea that OU has a basketball team because he's so far up the Thunders' ass. Yea, but it's not like some random OU fan is gonna walk into this thread and become Norman Internet Tough Guy or Stillwater Internet Tough Guy. But hey, we have Lon Kruger who is about to get poached by Illinois. I assumed you guys had an OU-version of tadowdaddy
