  1. OOOOHHH! My new sig!! "Last call for the Brewers. 7 to tie! 8 to win!!"
  2. Dude, those guys work for the Cubs. Sheehan doesn't. Z is not a 18 year old pitcher, he's a horse. Don't worry, Lou will take him out but this pitch count crap is getting ridiculous. It's not like he has thrown 160 pitches. this HAS to be dusty baker. No, I just probably know a lot more about Baseball then you. But carry on with those weak jokes. While I agree that pitch counts are overrated, you should really leave the "I know more than you do about baseball" junk out of it. It makes you sound extraordinarily immature, and Truffle is a well-respected, knowledgeable poster. Until he starts talking about the weather. Dude couldn't forecast his way out of a wet paper bag
  3. LOL. This is freaking great. I think I'm going to sleep MIGHTY well tonite!
  4. Shark was up at the end of last inning He shouldn't pitch, there is no reason why Eyre can't finish this out but whatever. or marshall or someone who doesn't pitch much. if you're not gonna use back of the bullpen guys with a 6 run lead then what's the point of even having them on the team? Agreed. Not only does it unnecessarily strain the pen, but it makes it harder for Eyre to get any consistency going when he isn't it the game. I bet Lou just forgot about him. I am sure this has been discussed, but the % of Cub fans at Miller Park is above 10-20 right? Right now? Closer to 75%, I would think.
  5. Holy crap is it possible to play outfield worse than this?!??!
  6. Or at least burn down their marketing department.

  9. Braun's method of avoiding errors is to pretend he can't get to the ball, and the Brewer's announcers method of broadcasting is to pretend Braun's struggles aren't happening.
  10. I would wish it on Braun and about 7 Cardinals. Why not 24? Everyone but Pujols (who is classy and one of the games' greats) wish it on him too, he still goes home to his palace and multitude of hot women.
  11. This game so far http://thenastyboys.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/ricflair.jpg

  14. seriously, and carlos zambrano is one of our pitchers. every team has at least one or two players who showboat; get over it. I wouldn't have minded if Braun showboated after his homer. It's the idea that a curtain call doesn't mean anything if you're still quite possibly going to lose. Are you kidding me? With all the curtain calls Cubs players have done in Wrigley, I have to imagine many of them occurred in games the Cubs lost, and I'd bet quite a few took place as early as the 6th inning. This is a ridiculous complaint. I'm not kidding you. They didn't even move the fan chart very much with that one. Come on goony. I mean what was the occasion for the curtain call? That's all I'm asking. I don't even care if they did a curtain call. I'm just wondering why you do one on a solo shot that didn't even change the lead. Why is that so controversial? Is Braun doing curtain calls on all his solo shots? I don't think so. If it's just that he hit a solo shot against his division rival, then that's bogus.
  15. See? I tried to tell you all way back when that Alou was a smart man. But did you listen? nnnnnnNNOOOOOooooo.
  16. When it costs bases, there's a legitimate argument against it.
  17. That booth is unbelievable. And watching one of Dusty's teams devolve into chaos from afar is sooooo much more fun.
  18. blister gets infected......bacteria is anti-biotic resistant.....spreads up the hand, into the elbow (skipping everything in between, of course)......bacteria is especially fond of TJS-transplated tendons....arm falls off. season over.

  20. if only they made the schedules Gotta wonder which strings Selig is pulling behind the scenes though. I've noticed there haven't been as many choice games on the weekends in Milwaukee too. Maybe it's coincidence, maybe not.
  21. In the 6th inning? Cub fans have done it before. Remember when Soriano was on one of his red hot streaks against Pittsburgh? Nope, I don't. If he did it was stupid. Curtain call in the 6th on a HR that didn't even give you the lead? That's dumb.
  22. The Museum of Science and Industry is really fun if you like mechanical things and want something different than old bones or dolphins. People don't mention it as much because it's not on the Museum campus (it's a bit South), but I really like it. Especially the awesome model train set that fills an entire wing, and the U505 German Sub.
