  1. No Lou. You aren't going to have Howry face Lee. Right?
  2. What the hell happened? I step away for a quick meeting and all hell breaks loose?
  3. That day off appears to have helped Lee.
  4. Hard to believe it's only the top of the 4th. 1 pitch 1 out. I'm starting to freak out over Harden's greatness.
  5. Nobody tried to draw overall conclusions from it that I saw. His last 28 days are .237/.326/368. He's OPSing .694 in that time period. He has been bad RECENTLY.
  6. Theriot is actually a big DP candidate because of hit tendency to hit ground balls. He hits into a DP a greater percentage of his available opportunities than any other Cub. Higher than DLee? As careless said, yes. I still wouldn't have had Theriot bunt there though, especially not with Harden on 2nd. You have a decent shot of Harden being thrown out at 3rd or being doubled off on a bad bunt. And then when Theriot got ahead on the count, there's no way I bunt at that point. A good solution would be to simply move Lee to a position in the lineup where he wouldn't be subject to as many DP opportunities, no?
  7. Yeah, at home. Our latest road effort was awesome though. I'll take winning by an average of 6 runs for the rest of the year like in Milwaukee. Drama is overrated
  8. Much as it pains me to admit it, he has indeed been terrible. I knew I shouldn't have dismissed his bail-out hitting style earlier in the year. Who can hit consistently pulling out of the hitting zone like that?
  9. Which is about 1000% better than a ground ball to short. PATIENCE ARAM.
  10. I only expect the latter. Well he hit it out of the infield, but yeah. He used to frustrate pitchers more by fouling off everything. Doesn't do that anymore.
  11. Glad DeRo plated two there, because not a favorable matchup for Fuku.
  12. Come on Cubs don't let this clown beat you again. Find a way to hit him.
  13. Ugh, it's getting to the point where he might never come back.
  14. If we win the division, there's a chance we have to face the dastardly Diamondbacks again. I think I'd prefer facing the Phils or Mets.
  15. I hate losing to pitchers that I know aren't good but I can't prove it because we continue to suck against him.
  16. Oh God, why hath thou forsaken me?
  17. I don't think it's gonna happen tonight gents.
  18. I'm starting to think we might have fleeced Beane on that trade.
  19. I can't do it guys & gals. I'm gonna need to be getting off to sleep soon.
  20. Me too. None of these fans will ever have a better chance of snagging a foul ball.
  21. I can see some random dust/pollen just floating in the air so I assume it's not very windy. But that's just anectodal observation.
