  1. Need to start stringing together some hits/walks. Not likely to hit it out tonight.
  2. That's 4 pretty hard hit balls in a row for Harden. Just sayin'
  3. Sheesh. We're being put down by Cueto. What the hell man.
  4. Damn, not good. Are we, like, going to be punked by Cueto tonight?
  5. So is Gilbert Gottfried the voice of the duck or not? I've always wondered that. .....nvm, wiki says yeah, he is.
  6. Kosuke still plays pretty good in the field. Too bad his bat is so bad now.
  7. For what, he has a history of losing control. Hence the high ERA. The ump wouldn't issue a warning unless he felt it was intentional. On PRINCIPLE. I'm sick of seeing our hitters get plunked. Been happening way too much lately.
  8. I was gonna say, if Cueto hits 2 in a row, righty then lefty? It's time for a warning ump.
  9. I want to reach through my TV screen and straighten Cueto's hat.
  10. Yeah, that sucks but you'll be able to watch the archived game once it is over... In the meantime, you can use the game day audio. Why is it blacked out though? When I type in my zip code to see what games will be blacked out, it says Royals and STL. LOL, I remember in '04 signing up for MLB.TV and saying "never again" after experiencing their insane, outrageous blackouts. I can see nothing has changed. If you are certain that when you enter your Zipcode that It does not say that the Chicago Cubs are blacked out. Than give MLB.TV a call, that's what i do since my zipcode is one of the only zipcodes in the burbs of chicago... I can only speak to my horrible experience, but when I did call them they told me there was nothing they could do. I think it was more like there was nothing that they were WILLING to do. I never bought it again. And I never will. The only time they won't do anything or most of the time will not be able to do anything is if, your IP address is from a zipcode that is blacked out. I can assure you it wasn't on the list. Further, I can assure you that they AGREED it wasn't on the list. Like I said, it was a horrible experience.

  13. Those are probably from the Milwaukee series. Note the grey pants and the surroundings, definitely not a home game. Derwood summed it up, I didn't pay attention to anything other than E.A. Interesting how you all can identify her without being able to see her face. oh yeah! ;) Haha. That's right ladies, we memorize every curve, every inch of you.
  14. Frankly as soon as CSC starts talking White Sox I usually switch the channel. As far as I'm concerned that channel only talks Cubs 8-)
  15. They were talking about that on comcast a little while ago. Does he have any speed left? If not, then I don't see how he would help us. We've already got a cadre of slower possession type receivers. Getting Horn is akin to the Sox getting Griffey: get an old, slow player for an old, slow team. Why? Yeah if he's slow now, I don't see the point. Actually I didn't see the point of Booker either, but that's another story.

  18. fixed also look at Grossman's numbers when he came back after the ridiculous benching. That's because he toned his act down. Grossman's upside is that he can be a playmaker and a gambler. Once he learned that he can't do this (after the benching), he won't make as many mistakes, but he won't have the upside either. If that is all he will be, let Orton see if he can be better. The Bears aren't making the playoffs with either QB. We have seen Rex. Now let's see Kyle. I have no problem seeing what Kyle can do. But I think it's silly to pin the tail on Rex's arse when the line play we had last year was beyond horrible. Again, it's not just the QB that makes or breaks an offense.
  19. Hard to be the same guy when there's a 300 pounder in your face 2 seconds after the snap on every pass play.
  20. Calling for Rodgers head is stupid. He is essentially a rookie QB, and isn't going to be Brett Favre right away. In fact at his ceiling he isn't going to be anywhere close to Brett Favre. Packers fanse understand this and are willing to give him a chance. He is an unproven commidity and the Packers don't know what they have in him, and until they do the fanbase and franchise will remain commited. If Bears fans were calling for the head of Rodgers in the exact same situation in Chicago, and wanted Matt Flynn to start over him I think I would laugh myself to death. Some of these Bear fans? I wouldn't put it past 'em, given the hypothetical situation. Chicago is the town, after all, that has been in love with it's QB depth chart for over 20 years. They are also the town that hasn't had a really good QB in forever. The fans might not be calm, cool and collected, but they haven't been wrong about their QBs either. Guys didn't fail because fans were trigger happy. The team has done a horrible job bringing in offensive brainpower and quarterbacks. There's no disputing that fact. I wouldn't dispute that.
