    That last one looked like a strike to me, too. But Pudge really dropped low to take it. I've never understood how umpires are supposed to be able to judge breaking balls low in the zone. you just can't see it from that angle Yeah, I'll bet he just looked at Pudge drop down and figured it missed.

    I DVR'd it. There was apparent reason. He was gesturing to the ump, arguing the strike call. The ump mouthed to Cooper: "I warned him."

    According to Chicago Tribune sports, Tillman is out indefinitely with back surgery. I'm not sure whether I should be upset about this or not. The article doesn't sound as bad as the headline implies. It says they are hoping to have him back by the last preseason game. Ok, then he starts his training camp. It'll probably be a few weeks into the season before he's really able to play well.

    Harry, definitely, for me. I grew up with Brickhouse, and became a hopeless Cub fan with Harry. Santo's great, but he came much later for me.

    Or maybe she realizes the case has little merit, so asking for a lower amount would increase the likelihood of a settlement to make it go away.
