Decent article in today's Tribune about how the Bears ran stunts/loops on passing downs during the Vikings game. One way to counter situations when there are two blockers on Peppers. Hasn't been talked about all that much. I hope it doesn't start receiving focus -- especially from other teams' OLines. It's nice to be able to pull a stunt unexpectedly and blow up things like putting a TE on the end for extra blocking, or to take advantage of a weak OG.

I don't think this game will be cancelled. At worst, postponed until tomorrow, possibly. Yeah I didn't mean cancelled CANCELLED. Obviously they wouldn't do that.

NFL Network is reporting that the Eagles/Vikes game for tonight is under review. I presume that means it might be cancelled. They said 20" of snow -- possibly just too much to get the field cleared.

Meatheadedness defined. Cutler's teams always underperform. Yea, because everyone predicted the Bears to win the North this year.

I know several Packers/Cubs fans. Lots of them in the UP of Michigan, where the Packers are the NFL team (not the Lions), and the Cubs built up a fan base through WGN. It's definitely madness. They're comfortable with being insane though :)

Someone teach Major that you can't do that in in the NFL. That was a beautiful defensive play except Wright blew it.

Yeah when I saw the slam I thought it looked like his head hit the turf pretty hard. But I wasn't sure if it was the shoulder or the head. Turico & crew missed the fumble, then missed that his head hit the turf hard. Just pretty much missed everything on that play -- including the assumption that because it's not Peppers it must mean that the blocking was just bad. Way to give a young player credit for making a great play, you clowns.
