  1. Didn't he say this is definitely "it" though? Yea, I know. Like anyone should believe what the King of all Drama Queens has to say.
  2. Maybe they'll wheel Madden out for one final Favreish Favre Favre. Favre.
  3. His hand was visibly purple. Not sure what that was about, but it looked really nasty. I don't wish ill will on Favre. Through all this, I still admire what he's done. But good Lord, go ahead and play him. He's not done very well against the Bears recently. He's really banged up. I don't see a reason Bear fans should fear him at all. He's a legend -- but quite beatable at this point.
  4. Turco is disappointing. Crawford shouldn't have to bail him out.
  5. That's 6 straight. This team is fun to watch.
  6. Booz has been money tonight from what I've seen.
  7. He's back!
  8. Oh crap please don't be broken
  9. Well, Scott can fight. I'll give him that.
  10. Well, that's the end. On the positive side, the Vikes look weaker than the Lions now. Hopefully they stay sucking like this for next week.
  11. Damn Giants. Please start losing, thank you.
  12. No outcry from me, but I wonder how your average Packer fan would feel about this. The trouble with brain injury is that you don't know if you've screwed yourself until you wake up one day and can't remember your wife's name. It's really not something to mess around with. I'd rest him as a precaution, it's the 2nd one. But -- I'm no doctor.
  13. Like you, I'm not expert on the subject, but I'm guessing the cleanup is much less of a concern than the fixing of the holes in the roof. If those holes are fixed, I think they'd play. I thought I heard yesterday that fixing the holes really isn't that big a deal. This report said they called in the original manufacturer to look it over and come up with the best way to move forward. Not sure how long all of this will take though.
  14. They can't hold their 50th anniversary over the league's head as a reason this must be in Minnesota. They should have thought about that when they decided to let their stadium become a decrepit dump.
  15. I don't know what to expect from Green Bay, Chicago, OR Tampa in a given week, regardless of competition. I think this thing is completely wide open. Sure, we can talk about likelihoods, but the range of error on picks is huge. We've got so-called contenders putting up stinkers against bottom feeders all over the league. I'll just offer this up: I don't have a clue what is going to happen. I think the Bears could be in trouble if they lose to Minny next week. But the truth is, I really don't know much of anything when it comes to the NFL. Maybe we lose to Minny and come storming back and beat the Jets & GB. Not likely, but I can't really say.
  16. It's pretty nutty that we're a 9-4 ballclub looking to win just ONE more game out of 3. This NFL woman, she is a crazy one.
  17. In theory. But a loss next week really makes it tough. Green Bay may lose next week, but they are likely to win their last 2 games. The Bears should be the fully exposed Jets at home the day after Christmas, but they will probably lose at Green Bay. So if they lose to Minnesota as they usually do, Green Bay is still in position to take the division and Chicago will likely miss the playoffs with the Giants and Saints most likely to take wild card spots. I think it comes down to this game, regardless Green Bay's result in New England. I think if the Bears follow up yesterday's debacle with another loss to Vikings, it will cast a pretty dark cloud over this team.
  18. Yes, let us take a stroll into extremely painful territory. Great idea! How 'bout NO.
  19. Yeah I had a little extra wine last night to push this one further into the background. I'm ready to move on from this puppy. :D
  20. Well now, that was...........not a fun experience.
  21. Ok enough already. We need Jay for other games. Stop subjecting him to unnecessary hits like that.
  22. Think I'll go to the gym. Yes, yes. Try to salvage something positive from this loss.
  23. Well.......hmmm.. It' very close. But they confirmed it. It's over. Hope everyone has other plans this afternoon.
  24. It's close, but I think he's still up. I think this will hold up, 21-0 Pats game over.
  25. I think the Pats are just rolling. I don't think anyone is going to do particularly well against them right now. We're just the latest victim. There was never any doubt in my mind we are the inferior team. I just hoped for something more entertaining than this.
