  1. Ugh, one more thing anti-Cutler meatballs can bring up.
  2. It was ATL calling them, FOX had it wrong. Ah, thanks.
  3. Oooh, nice catch Williams!
  4. Huh, why not run the clock down instead of calling timeouts?
  5. Hey, we stopped a quick slant.
  6. 3rd and 10, defense.
  7. Yeah...he's a beast. He might make that Olsen trade look like a good plan. Just as long as he keeps a tight grip on that ball when he tries to throw off the entire defense for another yard or two. I'll be fine with him :)
  8. OH HELL YES! You think you can sissy tackle Forte like that? Hah, think again.
  9. Urlacher is still a very good athlete. Nice play. Bad QB protection.
  10. 10 years ago, no. But the way the league calls those things today, yes, that was a penalty. Apparently it's only a penalty if you are one of the NFL's darling QBs.
  11. It looks like the Falcons are shutting down the edges fairly well, at least in the early going. But some nice plays, and decent playcalls too. Loved the 3rd and 10 pickup to Forte.
  12. Sang it so hard his face was turning beet red.
  13. Here comes the mega flag.
  14. I don't think Kelly's poor female psyche can handle this.
  15. Yes, awesome. LOL.
  16. Blahahahah! Irish go down baby! Play like a LOSER today!
  17. Uhhh...neither defense looked like the best in the NFC, that's for sure. Certainly the Saints didn't make a very good case for their defense. Of that much, there can be no argument.
  18. There's no reason they should be bad. I fear that they aren't bad, which means the Packers are really just that damn good. Packers are sure clicking tonight but you can't judge a Saints D by their performance against a top offense that has been on top of their game. Oh, and the Bears defense has the Packers number so I wouldn't be too concerned about slowing them down. Really? Seeing this shouldn't give a Bear fan pause at all?
  19. There's no reason they should be bad. I fear that they aren't bad, which means the Packers are really just that damn good.
  20. The Packers may as well not have OTA's next offseason, too. There's no point.
  21. OK, season started.
  22. Uhhh, Saints? The season has started.
  23. Any particular reason why? When he carried the ball in 2009 he did pretty well and if I remember correctly his blocking is decent. Here's a question. I know his success in the final game came against scrubs but why did Robert Hughes not even make the practice squad? I read an article saying he was the only player eligible for the practice squad who didn't make it. Must have seen something they didn't like considering they added a different RB to their practice squad after cuts. He just seems like a mediocre back in general IMO. I think he's ok when a hole is created (most RBs are) but too many times I saw him take a carry and never emerge past the LOS. There's no real technical reason I've obsereved why, just my personal impression from the few times I saw him, and I was at the game where he had a 72 yard run against the Eagles. BTW, if you take that 72 yard run away from him, the rest of his carries in 09 netted him a 3.5 YPC average, which is ok and much better than Taylor last year but nothing impressive. His longest run in the other 39 carries that year was 11 yards. Wolfe was less than mediocre. No power, far less speed than advertised. Personally, I'd rather see if Bell can develop some worthwhile skills as a depth player than keep a sure dead-ender like Wolfe around.
