    I never understood that. Yes Rose was a key player for a title contender, but its not like the Bulls were heavy favorites to win the title. The Bulls wouldnt have even been favored going into the ECF. He said series. Yes, emphasis on series. Not attempting to project beyond that.

    This NBA season sucks (at least on the Eastern side). Not having 2 superstars play in the playoffs when their teams are competing isn't very fun. Aside from watching the Bulls without Rose, and realizing how awful that is. I was looking forward to seeing what Orlando could do if Dwight was healthy. I was going to pick them to make a run in the East. I guess the West is still interesting. How much of this is the Bulls taking the brunt of the fallout for the NBA/Union fight months earlier? That schedule can't have helped, with less time to recover in between games.

    On the one hand, this guy's talking about differences of 100ths of seconds. Those times could be altered by 100ths of seconds just by putting pads on (which could reflect well or poorly on Jeffery depending on how well he runs in pads relative to his peers). So I'm not sure how much stock I put in those numbers with such a small deviation. On the other hand, it's good to know if Jeffery's in a foot race for the end zone, he could be comparable in terms of speed to the likes of DeSean Jackson. I'm gonna just roll with it. This is positive proof that Jeffery will dominate, and it completely refutes any naysayers.

    He tried to say something positive about one of our players. Flame him! Yeah well people who make definitive statements based on unfounded bias is a pet peeve. Sue me. His statement read more like a general well-wish for the guy. It's not like "beast" is a column on a player's stat sheet.

    Really not all that bad for me. It's not that I was expecting anything worse (or better), but some of these games could easily have gone our way and didn't. I'm very happy or fearless leader pulled the plug on Marmol now, rather than hanging on to him for weeks more. I feel like a couple of our previous "fearless leaders" wouldn't have hooked him this quickly.
