  1. Maybe a question for the week after the game, but: is it time to start thinking of Briggs as the best LB of this era, and not Urlacher?
  2. Wow, I think that is a fumble!
  3. They had two already on this drive. Just didn't have a chance to recover them.
  4. Come on Pettigrew, fumble it one more time without the sideline to save you.
  5. We could have kept Hanie to pull the ball back into his chest and weakly advance it 2 yards.
  6. HAHAH!! Roll the video! Standing ovation for Jay Cutler!
  7. If Hester's not going to return punts for TDs, then he needs to make good decisions on whether to catch the ball or let it go. If he can't do either one: put Bennett in. Good decision.
  8. The Lions have absolutely ZERO confidence in their ability to run the football.
  9. Relax. If we had driven the ball to our 30 yard line and punted, we would have considered it a victory. It was a good drive. We turned field position.
  10. YEAH! That was huge.
  11. Gotta say, if not for a couple misfires in Detroit's passing game, this is likely a very different game.
  12. I sure hope people tweeted him asking him why he quit on his team. He made an appearance on the sidelines with crutches & a foot brace. Hence, his injury is legit.
  13. Move to the West Coast. After growing up in NW Indiana with the 12:00 PM/3:00 PM times ingrained in my head, and then living in Bloomington, Atlanta and then DC with 1:00 PM/4:00 PM start times, I LOVE the 10:00 AM start. And those 8:30 PM games? They start at 5:30 PM. Lovely. Figures. When I was living on the West Coast you could count on the Bears never being on. They were generally bad, there were relatively few prime time games available, and they almost never made the West Coast coverage area. No NFL Sunday Ticket either. I feel cheated.

    NFL Week 7

I think I'm on board with the general rule, as it allows the defender to be able to count on the sideline as a limit to where the offensive player can go. That specific play, though -- seems to me if the receiver is pushed out he should be able to re-establish and make the catch. Apparently that's not the case. It's really too bad VJ didn't quite get his feet in bounds on the previous play, too. He had a great day, playing injured too. How the Bucs don't score, 1st and goal from the 1 yard line, is beyond me. That right there could have changed everything. That was one of the better games to watch yesterday. Apparently Bucs fans are losing interest though; they narrowly avoided blackout. Raiders/Jags was surprisingly watchable yesterday too :)
  15. Do a search of ebay, because people always post pictures with their listing. A brief search tells me this one is pretty old, but it's ripped so I doubt it is going to be worth anything. It looks kind of like one listing I saw from the 1940's.
  16. Mondays have become kind of a pain for me to stop & just watch football. I would rather the Bears just play Sunday afternoon when I'm not busy.

    NFL Week 7

It's times like these when it is nice to play in Jacksonville, and not New York or Chicago.

    The Jets kinda suck too
  19. People just dont likeJay. Those are the real power rankings. Take that Yahoo! Also, don't show that site to any Bear players. Thx.
  20. Pretty much goes with the scouting report at draft time. It would be nice if we could be more dynamic about where the extra help is provided on pass plays.
  21. It didn't seem like a bad pick to me at the time. Not like some of Angelo's other picks.
  22. It didn't seem like it had to end. CW was remaking his career as a decent guard. Maybe not a great one, but I thought we could still use him. I guess he just didn't fit the mold of what we were trying to do up front, in the core of the line. So he became a casualty.
