  1. Hehe. Yeah, furniture throwing time.
  2. NFL execs are praying for a Bears loss here, surely.
  3. Any normal team would expect a first down here to ice it. Tice & co are already expecting to just run 3 downs and punt.
  4. What the hell was that [expletive] drive, again?
  5. How, with play calls like that?
  6. Yeah. Either way though, the Lions are getting the ball back with a chance to win. There are lots of things that make this Bear team one that needs an overhaul. This last game of 2012 illustrates many of them, in full color, for everyone to see.
  7. Briggs is a good Bear, but damn he sure screwed us there.
  8. Bears just won't be happy until they blow this game, it seems.
  9. Nice late hit DAMMIT.
  10. Football coitus interruptus.
  11. The bad news: we already don't expect a TD from this team before the drive even starts.
  12. I can't believe it. It's just so terrible
  13. Just waiting for him. No creativity at all. Tice is like having some fan from the end zone seats calling your plays.
  14. What would be enlightening would be for the Bears to win this game, and the Lovie *still* gets fired. Because really, regardless of this game, this isn't good enough and everyone knows it.
  15. 20-3. That's what the lead was.
  16. Which we've seen many times during the Lovie era. It's amazing how much we can hate a team that is winning by 10. It's a season where the playoffs should have been sealed long ago, and then wasn't. And now, even in the last game against a far inferior opponent, they allow a team that quit weeks ago to compete. The frustration is palpable. And completely understandable. I'm looking for big things from Emery this offseason. If we don't get it, I think this organization has earned a goodly amount of ire from the paying public. It's really nonsense, what we get from this organization year after year.
  17. Get ready to be frustrated when they don't cut him because they don't want to take the cap hit.
  18. Here's an example of a football game that should not be in doubt, yet still is.
  19. I can't believe they let the Lions drive the field before the half, and now this from Hester.
  20. yahoo reporting that lovie is safe. but then they also are saying whisenhunt is safe which doesn't make sense. i have a feeling that if they fire lovie, they will first go to the packers for clements, and this time they can't say no. and i will be ecstatic. then, sign jake long and draft a tackle high, move carimi permanently to guard and your offense is instantlly legitimate. Doesn't make much sense to say Lovie is safe right now. Whisenhunt certainly isn't safe. That's bad reporting.
  21. I don't know if the Bears will win, but it would be unusual if the Lions *didn't* self-destruct.
  22. Everyone realizes that Packers/Vikings is just as big of a rivalry (if not bigger) than Packers/Bears, right? The game will still matter, Christian Ponder is still their QB, and GB will still probably win. Yea, strength of "rivalry" is not something I really take into account. Firstly, we need Seattle to win for this game to mean something to Green Bay. Next, if that happens, that "rivalry" (which typically I don't buy into but those two teams and fanbases truly, truly hate each other) will simply amp up the meaning for both teams. And in that sort of game, I'll take midget Rodgers and Green Bay over fricking Christian Ponder, even if it is in that dome. Well, the Seattle part is looking good so far
  23. You know, I still haven't given up on my dream of having Marshall and Fitzgerald on the same team. Who cares about the line if that happens. I still do :)
  24. A good article overall -- and big bonus: not behind a pay wall.
