    Red Wings forums are full of fans crying about how that should be illegal. Meh. It had more forward motion than a spin-o-rama shootout goal -- or Bertuzzi's from last year. It was really close. I haven't gone back and watched again but I think the puck stopped for a moment. He's moving, the puck moves. Detroit fans are just angry they lost a game that they should have won. Just fan angst, nothing more.

    I would say cut him, but that would just leave the Bears in a more difficult position at OT.

    He should consider himself lucky if, after all this, he still goes in the late 1st. I agree, he can still be a good player in the NFL. Lack of top-end 40 speed for an inside linebacker doesn't disqualify him. I just wouldn't want to overspend for an ILB in the first round who doesn't have some kind of elite physical attribute.

    Ive heard the FO wants Urlacher, Roach and Idonije back. I think change is good and u can upgrade at least 2 of those defensive positions while also getting younger. I suspect they'll try to keep the D as stable as possible so they can get another year out of it, in order to focus on fixing the offense this year. That's what I expect as a general strategy, but circumstances might alter that plan to some degree. Draft availability, cuts by other teams, etc...

    Some kind of hidden meaning going on there, but I don't know what it is :). What's with the theatre mask? Glass of milk? Someone's trying to tell Rip he's not a good actor and needs to drink more milk instead of booze -- otherwise he's gambling away his chance at a ring.

    The President's Cup would be nice, but I don't want the Hawks pushing more ice time for key players than they normally would just to get it. I don't think they would do that, but that would be my only concern.

    I'd expect more of this kind of thing, since obviously the entire league has no other way to stop the Blackhawks.
