  1. Who made this schedule geeze.
  2. Don’t jinx it though, man.
  3. Yeah that’s a massive pass completion saved by a bad QB.
  4. Bears just handing it away.
  5. I started watching 20 - 0 bears ball. Immediately give up a TD. Ridiculous. Game should be over. Instead we let them get off the mat.
  6. They listened to you. 😆
  7. Now the Crew needs to face off against Ohtani to stay alive. If LA sweeps all these guys will be rested and ready for the WS as the Jays & Mariners wear each other down. Advantage LA for the championship.
  8. Yeah I’m not looking at the records on this one. I think it will be close.
  9. I enjoyed watching Rodgers lose as a Steeler as much as when he was a Packer. but that Cincy game on our schedule probably got a little harder.
  10. Football stats in general are flawed. But this just seems damning. There’s still such a thing as a smell test. This doesn’t pass it.
  11. Two actually. Jayden opened the game with a dumbass throw for INT, and bookended it with a boneheaded flub of a snap that sealed the loss. Does anyone think if Caleb fumbled that snap he’d be given a pass because of the rain? Nah.
  12. Now Chourio goes down mid-AB. Luck has run out.
  13. Kind of surprising to see the Saints aren't all that far off from the Bears on that graph though. This Bears team cannot take any game for granted and can't consider themselves dominant over any other team. They make mistakes, the offense is still developing (in the right direction, but still a work-in-progress). The defense is better than I thought and they have some players back, but to me a defense that can't get pressure can make any QB look way better than he is. I don't see the Bears blowing the Saints out. 24-20 Bears.
  14. The Dodgers' bullpen is the weak point of the team but it doesn't matter if their starters never leave the game. And while the bullpen is weaker, the Brewers will now get the fully-rested version of all those pitchers if/when they do get used.
  15. Reading the Brewers forum it's very weird. They're all giving up on the season, and most bizarre of all they're turning on each other, with over-emotional doom boner posts, slamming Yelich's contract, criticizing Murphy's moves, the whole bit. Nothing like our game threads.
  16. He’s all outta dead guys.
  17. It’s almost like the Brewers are a bunch of middling players that somehow got to the playoffs.
  18. "A groin deal that he was dealing with." That's a new one. Always gotta watch out for those groin deals.
  19. It's so crazy to me how quickly the standards have been raised. I remember when Aaron Rodgers said he thought he could get the 70% completion percentage, and everyone thought he was too full of himself. Now kickers reel off FGs in the high '50s, low '60s all the time. Not that long ago a 50 yarder was the point where people thought, it's not a gimme. Anything in the mid-50's was a stretch except for a select few kickers.
  20. Now I'm going to watch every game next week and pick out whether teams are really obeying this supposed new "rule." I'm guessing not, but I'm open to being proven wrong. I mean the whole reason OTs cheat a little is to give them a bit of an edge protecting the QB. The league wants to protect QBs but they're going to make it easier for the QB to take big hits from the side? Just doesn't make much sense to me. But I'll be the first to say nope, I was wrong, teams are lining up perfect now.
  21. Which seems like it might have been intentional. I say that because Caleb doesn't really underthrow anything. It's almost always too long when he misses. So yeah....where's the PI on that? It's a regular occurrence. Gets called all the time.
  22. The kick coverage was driving me nuts.
  23. Brewers experienced a solid starter yesterday and they folded like a tent. Absolutely no offense. 2 hits. I was actively switching back and forth so I didn't see the whole game or even close but I haven't seen much of that from the Brewers. It's not going to get easier either. They have a well-rested Yamamoto tonight. Sub-3 ERA, .99 WHIP. If they go back to LA down 0-2 I'd expect they'll be swept or maybe 4-1.
