I’m hoping Fickell is next. It’s gonna cost UW about $25 million to buy him out. That’s the price to bury a horrible mistake. They can’t pretend they want to be a consistent winner if they won’t eat the cost of their failure. And Mac needs to go too. He can’t be allowed to hire another football coach. He’s the guy who hatched this plan to bypass an obvious inside hire and look elsewhere. The Bears have had more than a share of these catastrophes. By comparison, Fick has lost the team like Trestman did. Nobody believes he’s up to the job anymore. It’s “dead man walking” college football style.

Lions drew up an illegal play then tried to run it just now. They didn’t bother to take into account that the QB has to come set after stepping away from the center, before going in motion. Cost them a TD.

The Cardinals are our mortal enemies. It’s not even a rivalry. There’s a special kind of hatred between us. The Brewers are rivals, fine. Not the same level as the Cardinals. -
