  1. They should. Hawks could easily win tonight and then sweep a 'dead man walking' Wild in Game 4, but I think its also very possible the Wild win the next 2 and come back to Chicago tied. The Hawks have been dominated for large stretches in the first 2 games against Minnesota, they will need to step up their game to keep winning. In addition, the Hawks are the only team with a sub .500 road record amongst the top 10 teams by record in the NHL this year. They are 19-14-8 (so 19-22) and 1-0-2 in the playoffs. Meanwhile the Wild are very good at home (26-10-5 in the regular season and 3-0-0 in the playoffs). I am confident that we will take at least 1 in Minnesota, but there are a lot of people in Chicago that seem to be expecting the Wild to roll over and I don't think that's the case at all. It's OK to only take 1 in Minny. Heck, the Wild are good enough (I think) to not get swept. I'd expect them to take one game on their home ice.
  2. Just so everyone is clear: we've been ported to CNBC and the 8:00pm start, because.........people don't expect this series to be very interesting anymore.
  3. He's got a real chance to be, if he indeed comes through on the promise of being a consistently disruptive playmaker up front. I can see why he's risen that high -- it's a highly-valued skill set.
  4. Schlitter wins the hair war, there's always that
  5. They are giving away big breakaways too often. Can't do that against the Hawks.
  6. Need to get this under control pretty quick or bye bye lead
  7. Serves them right for sending their GOON after Kane.
  8. As did everyone in the building except the broadcast crew
  9. As usual we'll have to beat both the opponent, and the refs
  10. I can't understand it. That strike one pitch to Rizzo wasn't close. Way low
  11. They must've picked it up last series
  12. [expletive] that's so good. Did Smith know?
  13. Really though, still being thoroughly outplayed
