    yes and no, when Lovie was hired, GB was the class of the NFC. So, beating them consistently meant being the class of the NFC. GB at that time was in a string of 3 consecutive NFC North titles. He had to beat GB to do anything successful. Bears still need to beat GB. They'll be top dog in this conference for 10 more years barring a Rogers crippler. Not that I think Fox should have copied Lovie's opening presser.

    The Patriots definitely deflated some balls yesterday. What can they even do to them, other than a fine and maybe a draft pick taken away? That's it, if what I'm reading is correct. Please make it worse than bountygate. Well, it made the first 5 minutes of the Today Show this morning. I guess that means it's a big deal beyond the sports journalist world. The original tweet came from a guy in Indy. I guess it really matters to him that the Colts would have been blown out a little less than they were. In other news, my jokes apparently aren't funny.

    Just curious about why you think Seattle wins easily. Do they blow teams out often? Also I think the Sherman injury is going to hurt them. Not sure why the Pack didn't even test it. Brady will.

    The Packers turned into the Bears for 30 minutes. Aw man... Might have to pay for a week of NFL league pass and watch that at some point this week. Itll air on NFL network this week. Classic game. Best last 5 minutes I've ever seen. Yeah it was like Bears/Cards except in the playoffs. Some of the best NFL I've seen in a long time.

    If you wanted an upset, GB/Seattle was about the only shot for one. For some reason, I have 0 faith in Indy to pull off the upset tonight. I really hope it happens though. Otherwise I'm a Seattle fan for 2 weeks.

    Everybody can see, even the Bears, that peppers tries in good times and does not try in bad times. yea, but Capers does a great job of scheming for certain players and we have Tucker. There is that. Having tucker = bad times They can't see what everyone could see. Fire Tucker. That was trestman's call and he is gone. I like the direction the Bears are taking but you'll have to excuse me for being skeptical until I actually see better results on the field.

    Seattle is not going to run their way back into this game. They can't throw back in either. Their only real chance is a defensive turnaround

    What I hate most about about Peppers is how clearly Thompson can see, from hundreds of miles away, what the Bears can't from right in front of their face.
