Let's say UF goes to the title game and beats OSU by 3. Then UM wins their BCS game by 25. You've got a split championship. Again. Just like with USC & LSU. So it's pretty clear the BCS doesn't determine anything anyway. It's a waste of everyone's time. But it makes money, so I guess that's all that matters.

Noc caught fire early. BG kept it later. Even TT is playing well. Not a single Bull is playing badly right now. Me too---been so focused on college football I totally missed this. Bulls up by 22 now, 66-44.

I really don't know how it will shake out either. I just know you've got UM and UF, and both would appear to have similarly legitimate arguments for the title game, so one is going to be bitterly disappointed. And that's the BCS. They keep saying "it gets the best 2 teams at the end" but there's always another ballclub or 2 who could easily be considered one of the best 2. It really just doesn't work. At all.

Nah, it's an exciting win for the Gators. I think the voters are going to pitch Michigan out and send Florida to the title game. Yes it is. I'm not so sure about that. I hope this whole thing gets people riled up enough to get a playoff. On that we can agree. I wish the powers that be would get it.

Honestly I see all 3 teams as having something different to offer. I simply do not understand why people dismiss Louisville. They lost 5 games in the last 3 years. When everyone else understands, but you don't, what does that tell you? That I'm in Big 10 land. The polls determine way too much and assume too much. Tradition gets the nod every time in college football. Every time. Also, when I here the Big East sucks it just means that you don't understand football. I've been going by the actual games while you are going with the traditional arguement. Trust me, you guys are happier with the system the way it is because it's in your favor. The PAC 10 has the same problems and that's why USC has to schedule all those tough teams out of conference. Yes, everyone else is delusional. Got it.

More facts....thanks. JD Power and associates says the Big East is junk. Wow! Your "facts" are simply opinions. Yet you can't see it. Like I said, start beating the best and you'll get your due. Until then, nope. Ball State says hello. At least they had the guts to actually schedule a decent game. Yeah, that 3-9 team is a tough team. I'm talking about Ball State having guts. LOL.

And if the good old boys keep their teams in the big game we'll never know will we? Let's play on the field and not in the polls. LOL, somewhere deep inside I know you realize these things you say about Big East teams are ridiculous. Why? You assume it to be not true. Why does Michigan get a chance to play Ohio State twice? These teams play just 12 games, how do they get a chance for a rematch? Let someone else get their shot. Just tell me that. I tell you what. If the Big East wants to be considered on the same level as the SEC, Big 10, and Pac 10, then do what everyone has done to raise their level of respect. Start scheduling games against Ohio State. Start scheduling games against USC, Florida, Michigan. Start actually beating the best on a regular basis, and you might get more respect. The Big East is not considered a power conference. The onus is on THEM to prove otherwise, not the rest of the country.

I've said they were over rated all along. Louisville is the team that should be in the game vs Ohio State. my gawd will you give it a rest already. every damn week. Louisville should sniff the jocks of a second tier big conference school. it has nothing to do with good old boys, it has nothing to do with unfairness. it has to do with refusal to play defense and a style of offense that would not fly in a real conference. Seriously, it's because you give me no good arguement to think other wise. Saying "they suck" really proves so much to me. I strongly suspect it has more to do with the fact that you went to Syracuse and just can't accept that your fellow conference-men don't match up with the better teams around the country.
