  1. Fixed. Yeah him too. It was hilarious to see Thabo jump out of Gilbert's way to avoid contact, avoid touching him completely, yet get called for the foul. That's the NBA for you, though. Yeah, it's obvious Gilbert has reached Kobe/Lebron/Wade status. Thank God it's still a team sport. Refs are trying their hardest to eliminate that pesky little detail, though.
  2. Yes you can. He had a couple feeds last night that were just amazing. That one to Wallace blew me away. I thought for sure it would wind up in the defender's gut :) This kid sees the floor very well.
  3. If he dropped to 7, I would imagine the Vikings would have a tough time justifying any other pick given their pathetic QB situation.
  4. I'm not seeing the "obvious-ness" of trading Deng for Gasol. Gasol: 35.2 min/g 20 pts/g 52.8% FG 25% 3pt 73.5% FT 9.3 Reb/g 2.3 blks/g Deng: 37.1 min/g 18 pts/g 52.4% FG 33% 3pt 76.5% FT 7.2 Reb/g .5 blks/g Where's the big gulf here? Luol Deng is also 21 years old. Gasol is 26. Gasol is also the only thing that team has---they're relying on him for pretty much everything. Bulls have other weapons to spread around the scoring. This would have been a bad deal for the Bulls, unless somehow it was sweetened up or something. Straight up? No way to I trade a guy with more upside like Deng for a guy like Gasol, who is at his peak now and not even really outperforming Deng by much. Everyone loves Barkley, but I wouldn't trust his judgement on personnel moves. There's a reason he never went into coaching, or into the front office of any teams. His judgement is questionable.
  5. Wow, it was harder to score Brewers tix for the Cubs game on April 7th than it was to get the 3 Wrigley games yesterday. Brewers had the address bar and ctrl-N turned off on their waiting room. So it was only one window (at least I couldn't figure out a way to do multiple on a single computer).
  6. What are there, like 20K season tickets? Man, you would have to think there would be at least a 1% turnover. People die, and certainly not everyone hands them down (if they still let you do that). People also have things happen like going broke, where they can't afford them any more. There's no way possible that there is 0 turnover.
  7. I started getting through regularly about 30 minutes ago. Got tix, not the best games: 6/14, 6/15, 6/16 (SEA,SD,SD). It was a good time given my work commitments ;)
  8. Unfortunately, I tried to create an account last time and it didn't let me. Oh well. I'm not specifically targeting weekend games --- I like to use Cub games as a opportunity to take a long weekend. I should be able to get what I want eventually, I just kind of need to get some work done today too, LOL 8-)
  9. That was the biggest win of the year IMO. Certainly the best road win....I know Phoenix but there was no Nash and Phoenix really isn't all that great without Nash. Great to get that monkey off our backs against CLE. Finally Wallace played to at least some semblance of the level we thought we were getting when we signed him.
  10. This is beyond ridiculous now. I'm probably lucky to have gotten through even once.
  11. Insane, what did they do register my IP and deny access?
  12. Got in earlier for one game, but DAMN who turned off the spicket???
  13. Don't know. I stopped printing them at home when I realized I wanted to create a framed collage of all the tickets of games I've been to.
  14. Just a FYI: at least one section is not categorized correctly. 142 is outfield, not infield. Have your seating charts handy.
  15. Im not the only bears fan to question the ownership's frugal-ness. Those players have large contracts but the Bears are still 21 million under the cap. I have no problem with how much they do or dont pay players. I mean I wouldnt want the team to be in the cap hell that the titans, 49ners were or the redskins or colts are now. I just think it sucks that with how bad this team has been over the last 15 years, they finally get a solid head coach who takes them to the super bowl, and there offer is a 2 million dollars less a year than Bobby Petrino, a rookie NFL Head Coach or a couple hundred thousand dollars more than the Dolphins Defensive Coordinator. Its not like they are the Jaguars who are a small market team, and are not pulling in a lot of profit. They are near the top of the league in profits in the third largest market. Uh, the Colts are 7-8 million dollars under the cap even after franchising Freeney, and they still have some easy work that's going to get them even further under. They don't really have cap problems. I got that from John Clayton who said that the Colts are 5.9 million over. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2349505 That page says it was last updated on March 10th, 2006. hahahahha..... well I was more just trying to say I would rather be cap healthy... You'll need to get better figures that represent where the team is cap-wise heading into the season. Being $21million under in March simply means Angelo is managing the cap well. IIRC we started the season somewhere around $5mil under.
  16. Waiting rooms suck, man.
  17. go up to "file," then "new," then "window" and you should be all set. that's what i did and i have about 15 windows open. That did work, thanks.
  18. Damn, I'm trying ctrl-N and it's doing nothing :(
  19. Cheap org? These are the same guys that got lambasted for overpaying Ogun, Moose, TJ, Griese, Tait.
  20. I'm just going to assume this is alot of posturing and BS, and that the Bears will indeed have a contract for Lovie before TC. ......because obviously it would be a poor show on a lot of levels if they don't. This is Angelo's hand-picked coach; I don't believe he's going to do such a thing (even though I know it's Phillips' job.....Phillips doesn't seem unreasonable to me).
  21. i was watching when this happened. he looked like he was in extreme pain. he was sobbing on the bench before they wheeled him out. Yeah, it didn't look like that bad of an injury, but he was in such obvious pain on the bench. Imagine being wheelchaired out due to a shoulder injury. That confused me, but I didn't see the whole incident. Was he just in so much pain that he couldn't stand, or something?
  22. They are very, very solid. I don't think Phoenix can take 'em, but we'll have to see. Advantage Mavs.
  23. It's not only Chicago. NY and Boston are the same way. Yeah. Mark me down as not wanting to follow NY and Boston's lead......on much of anything. I'd like to follow their lead in winning a World Series... Yeah, I edited my post to include that little tid bit ;) It appears we *ARE* following their lead in the spending-to-win department.
  24. Really? That would be unfair to Todd, IMO. Arbitration is a process the owners agreed to have in place. Doesn't seem right that a team would harbor ill will when a player wins.
