  1. That was a really good view of what was happening down the field. I’ve got a feeling receivers aren’t open a lot of the time. You can’t expect Fields to magically throw deep receptions when receivers can’t get any separation whatever.
  2. Fugly. Giants will gain 300 yards at this rate on the ground.
  3. Daboll knows how to call an offense. Keying off Barkley, Bears completely bamboozled.
  4. Well at least they called it this time but what a cheap shot holy crap
  5. Let the box stacking begin…

    NFL Week 4

Wouldn’t surprise me if his work is covered under an NDA or something.
  7. Not sure we have the horses to compete with Michigan yet. I will say this Wisconsin win felt different. Felt like a program turning point. There was no fluke to that win. Illinois absolutely imposed their will on Wisconsin the way Wisconsin has on Illinois all these years. It’s a terrible Badger team. Worst in a decade or more - they might not reach .500 in conference as the 2012 team did. But I don’t disagree this is a turning point. Bielema was a good hire. He’s a solid coach, as any Badger fan can tell you.

    NFL Week 4

They'd consider that for 1/2 a second before they'd remember they really like money. Maybe mandate a bye so it's not a short turnaround.

    NFL Week 4

Sounds like NFLPA is considering filing suit. Still doubtful anything meaningful will happen.
  10. Bears might try to stack the box like the Giants, but even then will it work? Iffy. Jones can run too. It feels kind of similar to the Bears. Which QB with a questionable future and limited talent can be carried to a win with the run game.
  11. I get what you are saying raw and I agree with some of it. But I've seen QBs fare better on teams with bad talent. You can see the QB talent is there, even through the bad stuff. I'm not seeing that with Fields. And can you really blame people for freaking out when this is a old, worn out broken record? He needs time. The talent around him is awful. The coaches are protecting him. It's a new offense. Ultimately when I see plays where the pocket is clean and the ball just sails into a defender, or he holds on to the ball staring down one receiver too long and gets sacked, it's bad and there's understandably concern whether he can be successful.
  12. That throw Jimmy G just made was so stinky I can still smell it. He’ll get one more chance and if the 49ers pull it out nobody will care. I’ll try to settle down on Fields but I’m pretty disappointed right now what I’ve seen.
  13. I know the game is not over yet, but Brady came back for this? It’s not even a mediocre offense.
  14. They should but they have no confidence in him. If they start getting incorrect playoff hopes, I wonder if Fields has a leash. I probably should have clued into this by last week but today clinched it for me. Poles and Eberflus don’t think of this season as a training exercise for Fields. They’re trying to win games and find out what they have up and down the roster at the same time. Fields isn’t going to get the opportunity to fail and fail again. He’s going to get some plays but I expect it to be in the context of a run first offense because that’s where they are experiencing success. Knowing that, it’s pointless to be upset all year when Fields hands the ball off as much or more than he throws.
  15. That’s the kind of stinky throw that’ll limit your career for sure.
  16. Playing for the tie.
  17. Must stop here
  18. Hard to understand.
  19. His knee was down. I think so too after looking at it
  20. That’s pretty darn close.
  21. Yeah it’s a clean pocket. If that’s his throw without pressure he’s not going to develop anything. Consistent failure is simply failure. There are no lessons learned.
  22. There’s just no way they’re going to be a pass first offense. Unless they get down big in the game. It’s not happening. Eberflus wants to win games as he should. Fields is a joke at this point. For whatever reason he’s terrible.
  23. I wouldn’t expect much passing when it’s nearly always the run game that generates successful drives.
  24. I support your position on this…
