No, this is fielding a team filled with freshmen and sophomores against a more talented team. We're doing nothing different this half, it's just the shots aren't falling right now. Bruce has nothing to do with the struggles right now.

Hope not. The threes probably won't fall this well the rest of the way, but what's really killing OSU is the tempo. That will stay that way until the Buckeyes impose their will. I, personally, am thrilled with a 17-point lead at halftime. No reason at this point not to hold on. If we don't win this game, we have no one to blame but ourselves. But man, this is a great situation to be in. :D

How perfectly everything has worked is, I think. I expected us to play well, but so far we've absolutely dominated and controlled the tempo completely. I'm surprised about that. it's pretty easy to dominate a game when you're shooting 61% from 3...excellent shooting thus far from the vols. Very good point, I just didn't expect us to drain the threes this way. i'm not sure anyone did....osu surely didn't. True, true. :D

Unlike Wayne Chism, Duke Crews is quite obviously a freshman. Back to back poor plays cost us five points.

Lofton was all but ready to transfer before Bruce came in. Once he saw what Bruce was about, he and JaJuan Smith decided to stay. Bruce is a terrific coach and motivator, no doubt about it. From what I understand, UK and the Ville didn't even recruit the kid? :shock: Strange but true my friend. UT didn't start going for him until late. He was about to go to a mid-major at best, maybe even a non-D1 school. Oden with 3 fouls, this is awesome. :D

I can't remember the last time I watched a college basketball game and thought "gee those refs did a swell job!" 8-) I'll always insist Bob Knight hit it dead on with the "relax and enjoy it" remark. :lol: Not much you can do, the refs are just bad a lot of times. I have a few times, but you make a good point - the reffing does seem to be poor overall. These refs for all four games have been pretty bad tonight. I'll agree with that.

I thought I remember hearing that Kenny Lofton had a son that played basketball somewhere. Maybe not though. He's definitely not his son. Nephew or something similar perhaps, but not son.

Tennessee now 7-10 from beyond the arc and they have a 25-14 lead. Looking good so far. Hope they can keep it up. Besides the success they've had down low, everything has gone perfectly so far. If things continue this way, I don't think OSU can keep up with us. Still too early to say anything for sure though.

Six of eight from three point range so far. :shock: I love the pace of the game - if we can keep it this way I really like our chances. And it's truly great to watch Bruce Pearl on the sideline when he's angry. :lol:

This is craziness. The first 15 points were scored through three pointers and Lofton hit a long three with two guys in his face. Let me reiterate - Chris Lofton is the man.
